Conversation Between R686ST and CPR4LIFE

  1. I was trying to find funny pictures to post on people's profiles and for some (like you) I couldn't think of what to do...so I googled the username looking for clues. That's when I saw what your name stood for!
  2. I didn;t spot that at first, looks good for 24, probably has at least 10 more years left in her. R600 is the generic model, I always liked the 686 because the engine in the early ones (74-80) had two turbos and sounded really neat pulling a hill. BTW, I'm U686ST (another Mack model) on YouTube, someone else had taken R, not sure if they're another truck person or not.
  3. I googled your screen name to figure it out!

I think the one I posted is an 84...I believe that's what it says in the window anyway.
  4. Thanks CPR. Yep, that's an R686ST, '81 to '89 judging from the grille. I let a couple of others in on the meaning of my screen name sunday.
