    When I saw the thrad title two names popped into my mind-- norm's and earl cruse...we know each other-- I am '77 graduate....haven't been to a game since I left....I now live in Texas....

    Bet you were surprised to see johnson's name pop up there. But, it's true, he was tough but encouraging. I agree he was a better coach than Salters. What year did you graduate if you don't mind me asking, mine was 1976. Met my wife there, we're still together with two teenagers. I'm coming back in a couple weeks, will definitely catch an EVT football game.
