My big talk?

First off, there's too many nuts out there to give out the personal information that'd be required to collect or pay the bet.

Second, there's a little more than three years between today and the election. I can't confidently predict tomorrow, much less what the next three years will bring.

I...and economists I've grown to trust...believe at best the economy will sputter along in the next three years. One month will have a glowing metric and two bad ones. The next month, two glowing metrics, one mediocre, and one bad...which is pretty much what we've seen since about March. Or they're wrong. The Dow is 20,000, everyone that wants a job can have one and there's pot in every kitchen.

The global situation could change dramatically...Israel could start bombing Iran tomorrow. Gas prices could be five dollars a gallon. Or, we can be all holding hands singing "Kum-bi-ya," muslims will be sponsoring Jewish yard sales at their mosques, and the gas companies will be paying consumers for gasoline.

I don't know what will happen over the next three years, I'm pretty sure your army issued ouija board is broken, too. From your perspective, Obama walks on water. From mine, he's a snake oil salesman poised to wreck serious havoc on our country.

Look, dude. There's few people in my life worth the bother of hating. The only person on that list is a muslim I hope I never meet.

Do I think liberalism is wrong? Just as much as I'm sure you think conservativism is. It doesn't mean the disagreements need be bitter or personal.

would u care to back up your big talk with a wager on the result on the 2012 presidential election?...u can have mitt, pawlenty & palin or who ever wins the GOP nomination in 2012....and i get obama to win re-election is 2012...do u want to wager $100 or $200?
