    Boink--

The owner of Hertsch's is hardly in a position to raise objections to anything else in the neighborhood. That tavern is a chronic trouble spot, as is Monaghan's, about three blocks away.

As far as the Darul Uloom matter is concerned, the Muslim people completed the purchase of the property several years ago. It's in the name of an individual, not an organization. This man's son, who is headmaster of the school, bought one the expensive new house at 1901 Hillside, just across the street. They have around a million dollars invested, between the two properties.

The school is a legal use of the former Bauhof property. The only thing in question is whether the school can establish a dormitory, using existing structures on the site.

    Hey boink,
Saw your post on the new abattoir in
CC and was wondering how knowledgeable you are on the subject. I'm going to be writing content for The Sun's sister site, b, and found the practice of Halal and humane slaughter engaging. Definitely worth an article. Do you have connections at the farm?

Any info you could offer is appreciated. Thanks!
