  1. He's going against a weak Packers secondary that is adjusting to life without Charles Woodson. Boldin will not and I repeat will not do this next Sunday night against Sherman, Browner and Seattle's secondary. He needs to show up against the Seahawks to truly validate the trade for the Niners, he can pick on corners that are scared of him (Packers) but Sherman will wear him out. I guarantee you that.

  3. Matt Miller‏@nfldraftscout3m It's official, per KC Chiefs. Jon Baldwin for AJ Jenkins. #Chiefs/#49ers
  4. I appreciate what Jones did last year but now he has a bigger target on his back and he's a terrible option as the number two WR. The number two WR needs to be more polished as an outside receiver and Jones is clearly not polished. I definitely want the Ravens to give Mellette more chances, I have a good feeling about him, never felt good about Doss.
  5. It's time for the Ravens to move on from soft Tandon Doss, the guy is not a true Raven. If a good number 2 WR somehow becomes available then the Ravens should cut Mr. Dancing with the Stars too, I'm not backing down from that.
  6. Preston will always have a job as long as you guys keep reading and reacting to everything he writes and says. He knows he can get a rise out of fans because it's very easy since most fans are very emotional. Is he a hack? Yes but he's a slick hack, he knows exactly what he's doing everytime he writes an article.
  7. There is nothing wrong with you guys supporting Jones just don't expect me to do it, please just let me have my opinion. That's all I ask.
  8. Samuel Njoku ‏@Ravens_Examiner 3h The #Ravens won't hesitate to sign ANOTHER veteran receiver after roster cuts are made, per team source Cutting the one hit wonder known as Jacoby Jones would give them the flexibility they need, cutting Jameel McClain would do the same.
  9. That was last year when he could be the sneaky deep threat surrounded by Smith, Boldin and Pitta. He has a bigger target on his back and he won't sneak up on anyone this year. He's going to let the Ravens down when it matters the most, he will suffer from the Dancing with the Stars curse.
  10. Jones doesn't focus consistently in practice (a Harbs no no) and he didn't take the conditioning test seriously that's why he failed (he was in shape). I just have this bad feeling that he's a one hit wonder just like SuperBowl XXX MVP Larry Brown and SuperBowl XXXI MVP Desmond Howard, Jones didn't win the MVP award but he's still has the feel of a one hit wonder.
  11. I would like to point out that Tony Lombardi also said that if Bobby Rainey or someone else steps up as returner and Jones continues to struggle at WR the Ravens could cut him and collect $4 million in cap space. He played a big part in the Ravens winning the Superbowl but so did Anquan Boldin and they had no problem trading him. Jones hasn't come close to separating from the other WRs outside of Torrey Smith in camp. If Bobby Rainey provides them with a cheaper valuable alternative as a returner the Ravens could use the cap space from Jones' potential release to trade for a guy like Nate Washington. You can dispute this with me all you want but you will not get me to change my stance on this, I want Jones GONE.
  12. I like the move too and now the Ravens need to cut Jacoby dancing Jones and trade for Nate Washington, yeah I said it. Smith, Washington, and Stokley would be a good trustworthy 3 receiver set, Jones doesn't focus enough. I read an article on Russell St. Report.com and Tony Lombardi said that he wouldn't be shocked if Jones is released if he doesn't start to pick up the slack at WR.
  13. I went overboard a bit, hey I'm the new guy so I'm just trying to get to know you guys better. My main point is I trust that Ozzie will get a veteran WR that can help this team. Tony Lombardi is on 105.7 the fan now and he said the Ravens privately are concerned with the WR core and he wouldn't be shocked if they made a move over the next week.
  14. Tone it down for a second I know about the poor track record when it comes to WRs and by the way the Patriots suck at drafting WRs too. Ozzie does know how to find quality veterans at WR, despite the failures of Housh and Evans they were considered quality options when they were acquired. Houshmanzadeh basically told everyone how Cameron never truly involved him enough in the offense so I wasn't shocked when he dropped the 4th down pass in Pittsburgh in the playoffs. Derrick Mason is a good example of what I'm talking about, every good team has flaws. I wasn't happy when Boldin was traded but I also knew that the Ravens were going to have to replace him eventually. Until they find the right veteran they should give LaQuan Williams and Aaron Mellette a real shot with the ones, the both play with a true Raven mentality. Doss and David Reed are skilled by they aren't tough.
  15. I wish some of you and the national media would stop telling Ozzie what to do, they wanted to give the young guys a shot and since they aren't getting it done I'm pretty sure he is moving on to plan B which is getting a veteran.
