I missed it but I'm sure there will be a marathon, eventually... I'll watch it then.

For anyone that missed the notice,

then the "Tin Man" movie link HERE will be played again this coming Sunday December 9th, from 5 - 11 pm.

    Part 1, from 5 - 7

    part 2, from 7-9

    then part 3, from 9 - 11pm.

I watched it all three nights and still I want to watch it again for the 6 hours Sunday and I liked that version of O.Z.

The movie implied that it was like the first Dorothy was from the old movie and this new D.G. was her great grand-daughter and that was an odd twist to the movie plot.

Seems that anything on TV, Cable/Satellite Channels or in the Movies, the More they Hype it before it comes out, the Worse it is!

The "grey Gale" as they called her.

And that clip was in black and white too.

At least they did not get a Judy Garland look-a-like, but I bet they were tempted.

I looked forward to this, and I thought it was terrible. I made it through the first episode.

Once the villians appeared, I was instantly reminded of old sci-fi serials. Maybe that was the intent.

But the acting, sub-par IMO. What was Dreyfus thinking? And the special effects were weak, again IMO. The tornado in the origional was far more creepy.

I think I was expecting a modern, punkish retelling. I thought they took way too many liberties with the story. To each his own, right?

It is true that she had a very nice chest,

    oh,

and the tattoos were all flown away (or liquidated) at the end.

I watched the Sunday showing and after thought I believe the producers must have had to cross over many copy-right laws to make this movie.

Things like it could have been called TWWoO part II, or something more specific connecting it to the masterpiece, and the "Grey Gale" had silver slippers and did not resemble Judy Garland and the "ruby slippers" are one of the great prizes of Hollywood nostalgia.

So it appears to me that the Sci-Fi channel probably did not have any blessings coming from the owners of the original movie.

Another interesting point is that the two parents left their young daughter to the care of other parents (robots) and they did not send any child support money and the kid was well provided for without getting one penny in child support.

Then when the daughter got old enough she come home to dad and mom and all is fine.

Those parents did nothing wrong by letting others provide for their child.
