    Default Crime Roundup

    http://www.abc2news.com/news/state/s...3-e6b771eb2ef4

Maryland State Police say a 17-year-old Catonsville boy has been arrested in connection with a string of thefts from cars in Maryland and Delaware.

The investigation began Dec. 28 after several car break-ins and thefts over a two week span in the West Ocean City area.

Police, meanwhile, were investigating 24 similar thefts in the Selbyville, Del. area. Two handguns were reported stolen in those thefts.

In all, 76 vehicles were targeted. A credit card taken from one vehicle was used at several Eastern Shore stores. A video image of a person using the card, and a witness to that transaction, helped police identify the teen's vehicle.

The teen was arrested at his home. His name has not been released. Police recovered stolen property and two firearms.

This kid's travelling to OC and DE to steal things from cars? (Who leaves handguns in cars, anyway?)

Is there a Fagin in this picture, somewhere?

I agree, crossing state lines for petty thefts is desperate.

People who live in quite areas with little or no crime. I know that is hard to understand considering the crime infested area that we live in. There are still many places that people don't lock there doors DE has a few of those places.

I've wanted a dog for a while, but haven't got one because my work schedule may not allow proper care. Perhaps I should just get 40 dogs instead?

wow, lot's of unanswered questions here especially the part about perhaps the person is associated with an animal rescue group. I'm curious as I've been involved with animal rescue and wonder if I know of this person

Default Harford County teen charged as adult in robbery

icholas Hunt, of the 1600 block of Main Street in Whiteford, is charged with two counts each of armed robbery, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, second-degree assault and theft less than $100 and one count of theft less than $1,000.

He was being held Thursday at the Harford County Detention Center on $100,000 bail, with 15 percent acceptable.

Hunt was mistakenly charged as a juvenile and should have been charged as an adult from the beginning given the nature of the charges, Monica Worrell, spokesperson for the Harford County Sheriff's Office, said earlier this week.

Gee, you forgot to mention young Mr. Hunt's accomplice, an adult named Dimonique Anderson...wonder why?

"Also charged in the case is 18-year-old Dimonique Anderson and two other juveniles. Police did not have enough evidence to charge two other juveniles the victims said were involved, Worrell said

Anderson, 18, of the 2400 block of Nora Court in Forest Hill, is charged with three counts of armed robbery, two counts of second-degree assault and one count each of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, theft less than $1,000, attempted theft less than $1,000 and carrying a deadly weapon with the intent to injure.

Following an indictment, Anderson's case was moved to Harford County Circuit Court. Anderson is being held at the detention center on $50,000 bail, according to court records.

I found that part interesting; The do-gooder writer delivered more paragraphs about the slime's friend than the slime himself. Typical, not surprised in the least. Do-Gooder Harford County needs to hold the parents accountable

Wouldn't you agree that "the slime's friend" is also, well, slime? And if you read the article, it appears that "the slime's friend" was heavily involved in this crime: the knife and money were found at his home.

Funny, I've never thought of Harford County as a "do-gooder" place. In fact, it's one of the last places in this state I would pick to commit a crime like this.

Both slime, no need to pretend as if one slime is better than the other

Then why didn't you mention Dimonique Anderson when you started the thread? And why didn't you refer to Anderson as "slime" in your second post on this thread? In fact, the way you characterized him -- "the slime's friend" -- clearly indicates you didn't think he was "slime" at that point.

But don't worry, bub...these are just rhetorical questions, and you don't have to answer them. We all know your agenda, and this thread, and your posts on it, just illustrate that.

A Parkville woman has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to produce child pornography.

Thirty-seven-year-old Margaret Ellen Jones entered the plea Wednesday.
