    It's one of the better such lists I've seen, but how is it that WALL-E didn't make the top 50?

    As opposed to the shallow blockbuster movies that almost-invariably aim for the teenage demographic?

    A lot of these are the kinds of movies that escape our attention when they are released in the theaters, but which we sometimes hear about by word-of-mouth. Some are indeed tedious in their artistic pretensions, but others are wonderful "finds".
