    Default West Wing Question

I know it's old news , but I have to ask. I was watching West Wing reruns on Bravo.

    1. In two episodes they say Matt Santos went to Annapolis. However, at the Convention he is introduced as an Air Force Academy grad. I'm I right or wrong?

    2. In one episode Arnie Vinnick is campaigning and says I'm in the Senate, I will introduce an Immigration Bill

A little later in the same campaign he says he resigned his Senate seat and when he loses has nothing to do. I don't remember any resignation.

On each, did the writer mess up, or did I miss something.

On the first one I am not sure. I do own that year on DVD, and will take a look. As I recall he was a Navy grad from Annapolis.

The second one Arnnie was a Senator, but gave up his seat to concentrate on running for President.

Well, According to my trusty Comcast "info" button the series starts all over again at 0800 tomorrow so if you want to watch a bunch of episodes you can check it out. I seem to recall that Jimmy Smits was talking to Lily Tomlin's character and mentioned banging up his knee playing ball at Annapolis. Vinnick was up for re-election in California and decided to run for President instead. He would not have to resign as he would not be sworn in upon the next session of the Senate. His replacement (whoever won that election) would be.

You're right about Matt Santos and the Naval Academy:

    Thanks guys

    Just saw another one :

Opening episode Leo McGary is in a beautiful big brick colonial,

When he misses his anniversary because of " 5 Votes Down," he goes home to kind of a yellow stucco.

They needed better continuity people. It is a well written show.

Pretty sure I’m right about them saying Air Force Academy at the Santos Convention.
