In n Out is just okay. I went there twice when I was out in San Diego for the Ravens@Chargers.

I can't say with a straight face that they are any better than Five Guys burgers, and their fries are definitely sub par.

    nice, thanks!

As far as fast food goes, Five Guys have the best burgers. Who cares if it is 2,000 cal with fries. You don't eat burgers to eat healthy.

Fatburger is decent. Wag's in Frederick is really good.

I don't get burgers in Baltimore...can't recommend many there.

OK so I am kind of a burger connoisseur. Here are my top burgers and fries:

    1) Abbey Burger Bistro in Fed Hill
Amazing burger selection, great "pre-configured" burger choices. Try the Peanut Butter Bacon burger and thank me later. Oh, the Berger cookie milkshake is amazing too. Homemade fries, sweet potato fries, and chips. Great beer selection with tons of stuff for beer snobs. Nice sit down place.

    2) Burger Bros in Towson
Little hole in the wall place, similar to Five Guys in that everything is fresh. And made to order. Also has chicken, turkey, veggie burgers.

    3) Five Guys
Enough has been said here about Five Guys. If you are in the mood for a burger, and are near a Five Guys, go there.

    Honorable mentions:
    Koopers Tavern/ChowHound
    Fuddruckers
Chili's Big Mouth Burger (and sliders)

I would say #1 is worth a trip out of your way to try it out. Between the food and drink selection, it's worth it. #2 is perfect if you are near Towson. And #3 is good if you are in the mood for a quick burger.
