I dunno that it'll be his choice. I'm sure he would play if given the option, but with concussions and the way the league is reacting to them now, I don't think that it's going to be up to him. If it was just a sprained ankle or knee or something like that, sure, he'd go for sure. But with this, I dunno. I don't think anyone will know, here or in Pittsburgh, until later in the week.

Feeding Frenzy. But Ben wont let that happen, but if he isent 100% it may be a very long and boring game because if we cant get into the endzone vs the indys, how the F*ck are we supposed to score on pitt.

Roethlisberger was out of it on the sideline yesterday. I don't think he knew where he was at all.

really? he looked fine to me but hard to judge based on a few second tv shot. They're saying it was not a concussion at least that's what I have read in a few articles.

It will be interesting if Dixon plays. It will be a whole different offense.

Wow is this what our season has come down too? Hoping the opposing starting qb can't go

I think he will play. I don't see anything making him dumber or less lucky, so he doesn't have that much to lose.

Not only will he play, he will put up 350 yards. Bank on it.

I didn't say anything about a conspiracy.. Ben knows the rules about having to be cleared by an independant doctor. So when his coach says, "concussion related" and then Ben denies it and says he doesn't have a concussion, it's obvious he'll do what he can to avoid seeing the third party physician.

The game would hardly be interesting with Dixon at QB. I doubt the Steelers would score any points. He knows the system, but he's got absolutely 0 NFL experience.

Then again, his presence might convince some of the slackers on the team to step up. Right now it seems like they just expect Ben to pull their butts out of the fire every week, so they put in half an effort.

Yes, I would definitely call the Ravens versus Dennis Dixon a "favorable" matchup.

I don't see how he plays, you can't rush concussions. Ben seems like a good person, I'd hate to see them throw him out there when it could affect his long term health. Lord knows he's had head trauma before

Polamalu is out at least a month.

    http://content.usatoday.com/communit...-out-a-month/1

Pittsburgh Steelers all-pro S Troy Polamalu is inactive today in Kansas City because of his most recent knee injury, and the Steelers may have to get used to his absence again for the time being.

Polamalu sprained the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee Nov. 15 and could miss a month according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Polamalu missed four games earlier in the season when he injured the medial collateral ligament in the same knee in Week 1.

All three of the Steelers' losses have come in games when Polamalu was inactive or limited by injury.

Hey man. I'll take a win anyway I can get it. The Ravens need all the help they can get right now. Besides, I don't recall any teams feeling sorry for the Ravens when they had 17 guys on IR by the end of last season.

Before the season I predicted that Ben Roethlisberger would be injured before, and ultimately miss, the first Ravens match up this year. I thought it would come a lot sooner in the season, but I never thought Charlie Batch would be injured in the same game also.

It's quite funny that our Steelers trolls continue to post here even though their favorite team just got beaten by one of the worst teams in the NFL. Make all of the Village Idiot and my obsession with Steeler trolls comments you want DKBlue, at least my Ravens beat the Chiefs this season. The only teams that beat the Ravens this year are those #1 in their divisions:

    AFC East New England Patriots
    AFC North Bengals (twice)
    AFC South unbeaten Colts
    NFC North Vikings

The Steeler have lost to some really poor teams (and barely beat the Titans) this year:
#3 in the NFC North Bears
#3 in the AFC West Chiefs

The only good team that beat the Steelers were the Bengals.

Anybody else smell a drama queen Ben story on the horizon? I can hear it on NBC this Sunday night now - a "hobbled and woozy Big Ben overcomes his injuries to lead the Steelers to another victory"...
