Hundreds of online posters here, all ready to pour forth their thoughts and feelings- a chance to gather "b" fodder from the masses of Maryland! And yet all we see is threads started by some b bloggers that don't go very far!

Stimulate us! Provide the antidote to Forum Fatigue! What do we do for whacky fun? Have we ever cheated? What subversive groups do we belong to? What do we do that's illegal on a regular basis? Why do we all hate "Verbotomy"?

The possibilities are endless!

1. Unfortunately my job isn't solely focused on the talk forums (sucks, I know) and the last couple weeks since the site relaunch has ... well ... been busy (and that's an understatement). Sorry I've been more absent than I would like to be
2. You like me! You really, really like me!
3. We're all friends here. You can call me Marissa. Or Mrs. Gallo (if you're nasty).
4. I promise to bring some pizazz soon.
5. Let's never talk about Verbotomy. Ever.

You mean you posted a picture of your husband as your avatar? That's whom we've been complimenting? uh-oh.

What else do you do down there? I worked in Circulation from 1974 to 1984- the Reg Murphy years. Well, part of them. Decided newspapers were too risky to chance a career on. No offense... but even then the ground was getting shaky. Worked with Rafael Alvarez for awhile, and he turned his experience to writing, including "The Wire".

I tell you- he was one driven individual. All's he ever wanted to do was write, and he stayed fixed on, and accomplished, that goal. Cool guy. Haven't seen him in years, but you can't miss hearing about him in the news.

In short? Everything ever. At least, that's what it feels like most days.
In reality? A little bit of everything. Biggest things I do:
~The daily Heard page, which features the rant rail, question of the day and featured reader photo
~Handle all of b's social networking pages (along with Wes Case!). So if you're talking to us on Twitter, Facebook or Google Buzz, it's most likely me you're getting.
~I get to talk to you fine folks on the talk forum, on our site, through email, over the phone, at events, etc.
~One of the many people who put together and run the contests (big and small)
~write and compile the weekend events page, Tuesday's BFD page, Tuesday and Thursday's tivosurf and other little things here in there

Anything else you guys want to know?
