Default SPORTS: Today's water cooler question: Lighting a fire under your O's

Sports fans love to talk about sports — especially here in Baltimore — so we’d like to give our readers with sports-savvy an opportunity to rant and rave about what’s going on in the world of sports, both locally and nationally. Each weekday, we’ll pose a new question for you to discuss at the water cooler. Here’s your chance to be an armchair quarterback. Now speak up, play nice and let us know what you think. Your answers could be included in the next issue of b!

Today’s topic at the water cooler:
If you were asked to give a motivational speech, what would you say to the Orioles players?

You've got a job to do. Where you're going, others can follow. What you've got to do, you can be any part of it. I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of twenty-five players don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy division. Someday you'll understand that.

You make more money in one year than most people make in there lifetime. Maybe some of you O's should work a full-time job and take 50 times less pay! I bet then you would give a 100% effort on the baseball field you lazy *ss bastards!

Another note: If I were the manager I would tell these damn rejects(they are seen on TV smiling and laughing when they are getting there *ss beat in the dugout) Start performing, or I will send you million dollar rejects back to the minors!
