Well what else can we post without fear of it being deleted by overzealous moderators.

I see others get what I am talking about.

IMHO the moderators can't seem to distinguish between a personal attack and an attack on ideas, methods, propaganda, and a political philosophy. And thus unnecessary deletions occur taking the spice out of this forum and turning it into a ladies white glove tea party.

For example, I should be able to opine that the stench of a particular proposal rivals the worst garbage dump, when attacking an idea such as, "the loss of white privilege is the root cause of Tea Party angst."

I could understand if the post said, for example, "you poster x, are a filthy garbage dump and you are race baiting whore". That could be considered a personal attack.

There is a vast difference between the two examples.

Sometimes posters say things like, "[deletable phrase deleted]" to another poster." I don't see this as deleteable, its within cultural norms to use that expression to convey displeasure with another posters trolling. And in fact this phrase was allowed to stand on one occasion (good for you) and deleted on another occasion. (boo hiss).

Wether you agree with that or not there still needs to be more freedom to attack ideas and less lady milquetoast moderations.

Sorry, but crude sexual references are deletable and get deleted.

Crude is in the eye of the beholder. And the rule has not been applied equally As I said one time it was allowed and another time it wasn't.

And cutting it out as an example in quotes just proves my point.

And what about my main point about ideas?

Or is it back to this? http://www.tea-party-guide.com/ladies-tea-party.html

I do not agree with 99.99% of what Monore says but he does prove my point about milquetoast overly zealous moderation. If we all agreed on everything why not just make some cucumber sandwhiches and have afternoon tea.

Certainly we should be allowed to express our view of how the forum is moderated.

I used VOSA's thread to query the mods about why your thread was deleted and not VOSA's copycat thread.

I explained that you said it is because you're black and asked if that was the reason.

Then your new thread and VOSA's were both deleted.

I don't agree with you 99.98% of the time, but you are right. Finger sandwiches anyone?
