I don't know why people beat up the mods. From what I have seen they let all threads stand unless they get too blatantly ugly or racist, or there are too many personal attacks between posters. Otherwise, opinions from the far right and far left are allowed to stand and be debated. Pretty much if you give your opinion, and don't get personal about it, you will be fine.
