Default SPORTS: June 24's water cooler question: Round he goes

Today’s topic at the water cooler:
How will Greivis Vasquez fare in the NBA draft?

Sports fans love to talk about sports — especially here in Baltimore — so we’d like to give our readers with sports-savvy an opportunity to rant and rave about what’s going on in the world of sports, both locally and nationally. Each weekday, we’ll pose a new question for you to discuss at the water cooler. Here’s your chance to be an armchair quarterback. Now speak up, play nice and let us know what you think. Your answers could be included in the next issue of b!

Well first off I'm surprised he made the first round. I hope he does well but I kind of see him as being a part-time player for a couple years. Then bounce to a couple other teams where he will come off the bench. Then in about 5 years he'll end up playing overseas somewhere.

IM with Flu, Im surprised he made the first round as well.. he is not going to do much in the NBA with his current style of play. I thought he would have gone much much later. on the flip side..even though Baltimore doesnt have a bball team, how does it feel to see that ownership of the DC teams are committed to success? while ownership in Baltimore is commited to failure

I think he will have a long career in the NBA! The guy is a workhorse, which is what the Grizzlies liked about him.

if by a long career you mean a few seasons in the NBA before he has to go play in Europe.. just like the Terps OTHER stars.. Juan Dixon.. Steve Francis... Lonny Baxter
