    Mom--

Spaghetti and sausage. My son and a friend of his are over, so it will probably be gone by the time you get here.

That does not mean in anyway shape or form that homosexuals are not born that way. Homosexuals can not help feeling sexual desires toward someone of the same sex. The only choice they have is whether or not to act on those desires.

Yes, seriously. What makes you think that homosexuals are not born that way?

You clearly have no scientific training whatsoever.

What you're asking is akin to us proving that you do not molest poodles.

    that's your opinion ......

most folks that champion a scientific theory such as homosexuality is biological understand the need for evidence .......

Um, because there's no proof of that whatsoever.

From a simple blood sample, we can tell a person's racial makeup, sex, etc.

If a person was born homosexual, there would be a readily identifiable marker to tell us so.

There are plenty of studies showing "gay genes".

I have a feeling I'm going to get the usual surrender of "Those links are crap".

So tell me what makes you think they are not born with it?

I am working to change them .......

I would rather that all folks pay the same taxes, be able to designate anyone they want as beneficiaries, visit anyone in the hospital, etc. without the government being involved .....
I don't mean to be getting too personal, but when a married person says government marriage is a crock ...

You could always get a divorce and live with your ex-spouse as legal strangers.

If your spouse predeceases you, you go probably forego the marital exemption on transfers of property you jointly owned, any pension benefits she may have accrued, etc.

Again, I don't like to go there, but just bringing up some things to think about.

Yeah, the rhetoric gets rather heated at times, but it's not just the pro-SSM side that does it.

Homosexuals get called every name in the book when they seek marriage. We are constantly lied about, with claims that we oppose traditional marriage, are attacking marriage, etc. When folks try to deny any kind of recognition to our relationships and families, yes, we get rather upset and fight back.

That's not the problem most people on the right have a problem with. Its the in your face attitude of the gay lifestyle that bothers people where the gay community thinks they have more rights than the rest of us just because they are gay. Most of us couldn't care less whom your shagging. Its the "I queer and I am here" the majority of the gay community portrays on to the rest of us that bothers people.
Oh those uppity people getting all in your face with their quest to have their families treated just like everyone else. The nerve of some people.
