    Default Chuck Lorre Moves ON

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "Two and a Half Men" creator has developed an idea for a rebooted version of the series that excludes original star Charlie Sheen, who was fired -- you may have heard something about it -- back in March.

The trade paper says Jon Cryer would have a key role in the reboot and that a new character would be introduced.

A source told the Reporter that Sheen is still actively working behind the scenes to be reinstated, attempting as late as this week to set up meetings with "Men" cast members, hoping to clear the air and win their support. .........................................

Lorre is said to remain uninterested in meeting with Sheen, and Warner's sources are adamant that Sheen will not be invited back.

It's business news, social news, entertainment news. Personally, I like the shows Chuck Lorre has produced for the most part. I want more.

Where's Chuck Lorre or Jon Cryer? Deciding how to squeeze a few more $$$ out of a franchise that is dead without the star.

Charlie is the Gentle Wind of Charity.

gentle wind of charity????? you've got to be kidding! good grief. he's got so much time on his hands...and needs the seemingly postive publicity. the train wreck known as sheen isn't in the headlines anymore.

Good grief? What is this a Peanuts special? How can there be any such thing as good grief?

Charlie is the...Prince of philanthropy, chief of charity, archduke of altruism, the bishop of benevolence...and that's the torpedo of truth.

Charlie lost complete custody of the kids. Shouldn't charity have started at home- providing a safe environment for twin two year olds?

Maybe Chuck Lorre is a very generous man who doesn't blow his own horn. He is trying to keep things going so the rest of the cast and crew can work. Jon Cryer has always seemed decent to me; I expect he, too, is quiet about what he does. Not one picture of him machete waving, abusing a wife or drugs, ........... hardly a celebrity for all his hard work in show business.
