Think about it? It's two days away...what have you been doing? Probably busy watching the Devils in the playoffs...

Well Saturday is May 5th....maybe I'll Have Another in honor of Cinco de Mayo?

Props to Norman - just wondering if he had another or actually put some money on the horse.

Post position #1: Norman Had Another (3-2)
Post position #2: Norman Bets Money On I'll Have Another: (25-1)

Hopefully. The horse racing industry could use a shot in the arm.

That being said, my pony loving Uncle has advised me to bet the mortgage on Union Rags.

I would love to see it .......

I started to take it for granted when I was a kid back in the 70's ......

I'll Have Another - sounds sweet...

Was at Belmont with my uncle to see Secretariat take the triple crown in most convincing fashion - 31 lengths. And I was there again when I was living in New York in 1978 to see the incredible Affirmed and Alydar duel it out right up to the wire. I moved out of NYC in 1984 and haven't been to Belmont since. Would be nice to see another triple crown winner this week. Here's hoping...

    Goldencents.

Also possibilities and playing exactas with: Orb, It's My Lucky Day, Normandy Invasion.

The sloppy track that is expected will be a concern.

Pletcher, the trainer, has a quarter of the field --- enough to make trouble and pace the race.

If they run as a single entry --- (Do they run as a single entry?) --- they'll pay about 10 cents.

Hard to bet against, but . . .

I am going to be pulling for the lady and Mylute to win .......

I had the opportunity to hang out at Churchill Downs this past November and while I didn't get to see any races, it was pretty cool ......

I predict no Derby victory for him. I'm using 2 of his horses - Revolutionary and Verrazano on the bottom of my exactas only.

There is no entry. The 2 horses I have on top, Goldencents and Orb are currently co-favorites at 7-1.
I'm counting on Goldencents to get out to a long and lonely lead down the stretch, kicking mud on the horses behind him. His bloodlines concern me a bit but I was so impressed with this last victory in the Santa Anita Derby that I kept coming back to him. I will be disappointed if he doesn't at least hit the board.

    He's 1 for 31.

Maybe he'll train the whole field one of these years.

Goldencents could be dangerous, if he's alone out there. Question about the distance.

Orb sounds like the one to beat and that's always the one I'm looking to beat, too.

A sloppy track will put some of these sleepers in contention.

    19 is a lotta horses.
