The flaws would still be there, but almost everyone would fail to see them.
What kills me more than anything is how we go through this every season. When are fans going to realize that the Ravens are not going 16-0. They're going to lose games. Some will be nail biters that will tear your insides out and there will be the occasional blow out. It happens to all the teams every year. I really do think we've become somewhat spoiled with this team. Losing sucks but as most of the players will tell you, you have to move on to the next game. And after Ray Rice touches the ball 25-30 times next week and the Ravens beat Washington, everything will be back to normal. Well, for most of us that is.

You talk as if the Ravens have actually WON something since 2000. What have they won, exactly? They've come close, but so did Schottenheimer his entire career. The same with Reid. The same with Bo Schembechler -- lots of "conference titles"; NEVER a national championship. (See a common thread here: They're ALL connected to Harbaugh and Cameron. And they're ALL "also-rans".) So WHEN the Ravens actually WIN it all, THEN you can talk about being spoiled. Until then, it's just nonsense, IMO.

Flacco was Flacco. He is an inconsistent QB who lacks pocket awareness that on occasion will be brilliant and at other times appear as if it's his first game in the NFL.

Every time he drops back to pass my first thought is I hope he doesn't get picked!

I do wish he'd run the ball more when he stops in the pocket and moves he usually winds up fumbling but could make several yards if he ran.I do miss the days of his first year, he ran for a 1st down a lot more

But Cam wanted to reduce his "happy feet" and turn him into a true "pocket passer". (it's just a shame that most of the time his "pocket" can only hold off the rushers for around 3 seconds, while his "elite" WRs can barely get any separation.)

How long has Harbaugh been the coach of this team? How many years do you give a particular coach to win the Super Bowl before you label them "also-rans"? Do you blame coaching for last years loss to the Pats? Do you blame Flacco? All the players?

Harbaugh has had TOO much time to learn his trade, as far as I'm concerned. And he's not making real progress, because the SAME problems occur year after year after year. And he has no solution for them, and I doubt he ever will. Just my opinion.

The coaches were responsible for the chit-the-bed performances that cost the Ravens home field advantage and sent them up to NE in the first place, instead of playing at home. Cameron wasted ONE FULL QUARTER with FIVE 3 and outs, before he finally "woke up". And Harbaugh didn't have enough sense to call a time out and settle down his kicker before a critical FG to try to tie the game. The Ravens are consistently unprepared and outcoached, and it's obvious to most people watching -- ESPECIALLY opposing coordinators, who run schemes as if they already know what the Ravens are going to do. Because it's SO DAMN OBVIOUS. That's coaching. And it's cost the Ravens dearly.

Flacco outplayed Brady, and the stats show it. He put the winning TD right into Evans' hands. So what issue could there possibly be with Joe, unless someone is intentionally TRYING to make some issue where none exists?

I still say 20 points should have been enough to beat the Steelers. Our Defense never adjusted and Pitts offense found our middle as the weak spot. To let a team go 84 yards to kick the winning fg was just a bad defensive coached team. No blitz , if they did blitz it was a vanilla one and giving Charlie 5 seconds and more to throw the ball was bad but Nghata going offside was just plain bad.

Flacco plays like a guy trying to avoid contact. In a contract year, injuries could be worse for the pocket book than a second round playoff team elimination. And, Cam calls plays like he has no QB backup and wants Joe to stay out of the fray. Hence, it's all Ozzie's fault for failing to bring in a decent second stringer.....please don't tell me Tyrod is that guy.

What constitutes the legitimacy of being "spoiled?" Two Super Bowl wins? Three? Every year? In the parity-laden NFL, you're lucky if you DO win more than one Super Bowl during a decade. I can only speak for myself, but I do feel a bit spoiled at times and that's why a loss seems to burn a little bit more than say, an Oakland Raider fan tasting defeat. There's so much more than just talent that goes into winning a Super Bowl. I'm sure the undefeated New England Patriots can tell you as much after losing to the Giants.

It never seems to amaze me how the same people just can't stand winning without finding something negative to write. I guess being miserable is their way of life. We can't lose the fact that this is a business and really only affects our lives in our mental feelings. Maybe some should just not watch the Ravens at all. I'm sure their families would love this as they probably beat their wife and kids after a loss. lol.....

I wonder if the contract is beginning to weigh on him. He did turn down the one offer figuring that he would have a big year and cash in afterwards. But maybe he's starting to feel the pressure a little especially now that he has been so up and down. It would be really interesting had he gone into this year with a new OC so everyone could see if he indeed was holding your guy back.

i'm not about to say Joe is in the same class as a Manning or Brady but he is a winner. Maybe he needs to get up to the speed of the game at times but when someone says Joe should run more for the 1st down when pressure is all over him, I feel they really don't see that Joe may be under orders to not run. In his first years as a Raven Joe ran a lot but now I feel Cam has told him to stay in the pocket as an injury to him would kill the Ravens. This being said the Ravens are a winner with Joe so maybe the naysayers on here just need to argue as they use this as a form of venting. They need something or someone to blame for their miserable life and Joe has broad shoulders.

Joe I'm behind you yet today you looked like a rookie with slow as your meter. Oher made a bad play but the wr on the slant was wide open and your reaction time was to slow. Wham bam td if you hurry a little. Come on Joe, be the leader, adjust to the defense, put blockers in the right spot but please stop this cool act. Get some life it just seems you are regressing, are you hurt? Today the Ravens should have won by 21 and probably with luck on the fumble on the ko at the end, if the Ravens recovered all would be well but really something is wrong. You need to get a clock in your head, show a little emotion, you did some today but really Joe, I have been on your side, time to wake up and tell Cam to go to Hellll

Now we will see the real Flacco out there. Time to show all your doubters what real game planning can do. With Caldwell you will see more and better routes not vanilla. You will see a quick release from Joe and more important you will see the game open up after the Ravens get the lead instead of sitting on the lead.
