I saw the show and after saw Jacoby Jones on the Jimmy Kimble Show. Both were great, I recorded JK show so I could watch both. With all this love going round, first Jones loves Baltimore than Boldin wanting to retire as a Raven. Reed showing his love etc. I think negotiations for Flacco will be fine. Rice to me is a real chance to dump a big salary. I would trade him for a number 2 and free up Cap but also Williams will not be a loss as Webb returns. Nghata and T Sizzle should take a renegotiated cut and all will be well. Flacco will from this day forward be one of the best in the game and will be good for at least 8 more years.

So I saw Jones and he was hilarious . Did any of you think that he would not only make the winning catch against Denver but also make the winning plays against SF. also do you think the guy from last year would have made those plays. You know the guy whom we shall remain nameless. The guy who dropped the big pass against NE.lol

I enjoyed when he defended Flacco (Smokin' Joe as he called him) as having deserved the MVP award (11 TDs and No Picks).

Then he had me almost in tears, Joe deserved the car, but Jacoby wants to borrow it! Jacoby said he was going to "put some rims" on the car too!

He was like a kid having fun!

Joe was so funny when he was on the podium getting ready to be interviewed and he was told he was getting a car for MVP. When he said I'm getting a car, I broke up in laughter and peed myself from laughing so hard.lol

The expression on his face was priceless...reminded me of the Alfred E. Newman of Mad Magizine: the "what? Me?" look!

Every time Joe plays the 49ers he gets something even greater than gifts and wins. Once again he and his wife are expecting. Maybe the Ravens need to skip playing them for awhile.

Just read a good article about the Ravens center in waiting. He has been working out for weeks getting ready to take over.

Well now that the Ravens have all but ensured their collapse with giving Flacco all that money. They will no doubt loose Kruger, their young inside lb, and a few others. Reed will be gone as well. You may score 24 points a game but giving Flacco the world, unlike Brady who is a team player, your guy has destroyed you for years to come. The Ravens will need to score 30 or more a game and that won't happen to much. I see a 4 win year next year. It seems the Ravens will be one and done like in 2000.

Obvious troll is obvious. You dig up this thread 3 pages deep to post this garbage? Sad.

I hope nobody incorrectly interprets your post as an attempt for actual discourse.

your use of obvious is obvious. You must obviously see that Flacco has all but made the Ravens also rans for years to come. Maybe your team can draft another Ray with the high draft choices you will undoubtedly get the next few years. Kind of reminds me of the Testavetti (sp)days. I can't wait to see Miami give the Ravens their lunches next year.

you will obviously attempt to go away and troll on another thread but you don't back up any of your words with facts. My facts are obvious. Joe Flacco has 20% of the teams salary cap and this will make the Ravens weak. Watch and see. The Ravens are in cap hell now.

Obviously, you don't know the facts either. You don't seem to comprehend the difference between an annual salary and the way contracts are calculated as to their Cap figure.

...Joe Flacco has 20% of the teams salary cap...
From all reports, the Flacco cap figure will be about 12-15 Million. That is around 12% of the total cap of 121 Million - not 20%. Furthermore, that cap percentage will be less than Suggs' or Ngata's by the way.

...and this will make the Ravens weak. Watch and see...
And exactly how will this make the Ravens weak? People like you said that last year when JJ left. When Grubbs left. When Zibby left. When Haruki left. How'd that work out in 2012?

Most of the national "experts" have said that Ellerbee is the critical piece on the defense. Kruger played well, but Ellerbee has a more critical role and was the leading tackler and playmaker on the 24th ranked D.

However, times have changed. For years, the Ravens had a dominating defense, but never enough offense. Now, we have an offense that features two weapons: 1) a deep strike capability with the strongest arm and most accurate deep ball passer in the NFL, and a punishing offense that also lives on the 80-yard, 10-play drive. Add that to a defense that gave up lots of yards, but was in the top 5 in red zone defense and you have the makings of another competitive team.

...The Ravens are in cap hell now.
It would be interesting to see you defend this astounding pronouncement!

Just. Plain. Wrong. On all counts.

Pleassssssssse do not feed this troll. He is a Florida resident who loves to bash. Now one thing I do see though is probably the toughest schedule in the NFL next year. It will be tough but our defense will be better not worse and our offense will score points. I'm a big Rice fan but the life exp of a rb is 4 to 5 years and with Pierce coming on and a strong group of RB's in this draft I might want to trade him for a 2nd rounder. Just a thought and it fees up cap

I'm definitely a fan of trading Rice. Pierce/Rainey are the future, not Rice.

Actually, I believe that Pierce, Rainey and Rice will complement each other nicely...and if the two young 'uns continue to improve, it will extend Rice's usefulness.

As a RB nears 30, the fact that Rice can catch the ball in space and make defenders miss means another weapon will be available.
