Anyone else going to see Roger Waters at the verizon center? Just got my tix the other day, can't wait. I saw the dark side tour at nissan and it was better than the division bell tour at RFK in 94.

I saw Roger Waters at Nissan probably 10 or so years ago. Great show!
I think it was 4 or 5 years ago, I was there. It was the dark side of the moon tour, with the big flying pig, better in my opinion then the 94 rfk division bell tour.
It was before that, on the In the Flesh tour. Looks like it was in 2000. I knew it was a long time ago because I was underage and people were sneaking me beers.

Saw Waters and his entourage about 5 - 6 years ago here at the amphitheater, during the what I call the Dark Side tour. After intermission was the entire Dark Side of the Moon, followed by Comfortably numb to end it all.
Cannot describe how good it was, and the musical perfection is just amazing. Perhaps the best concert I ever witnessed.
Shows you how long before you have to buy tickets, the show is coming this thursday, can't wait, with how expensive concerts are these days this will be one of the only ones for me that will be worth it.
I saw them in the spring of '72 at ( I *think* it was ) the Opera House.
Towards the end of the show, I recall being in a sort of state of mesmerization.
Then, they played a 12 bar blues for the last number, and everyone came back around.
Yeah I was upper deck, but to me it was just so awesome it didn't matter, my god that disco ball was huge in the infield, and when they hit it with laser beams that ws just incredible....ahhhh my youth..
All I can say is wow..they built a wall slowly during the first part of the album while projecting images from the movie on the wall and in the end it all came down, well worth the money, great sound, amazing show.
They even had some local kids come out and sing the part in another brick in the wall, it all just sounded really great. Wish you were here tour? I hope so, but if not I saw a great show for his last one.
I want to go back in time to this and be there! Maybe in a Parallel universe?
