Default Flacco Must Go, Sign Drew Brees or trade for a QB

Right now Flacco is not the answer for this team and if John Harbaugh wanted to kept it job then Ozzy must make a shot to get Drew Brees in 2012. Brees is an FA after this season and Flacco is a FA, I give a chance to sign Brees or maybe trade a draft pick. So what is your choice.

Now, that's a good idea. Maybe we could sign Aaron Rogers to be Brees' backup too.

I think Indy definitely would trade their top pick for the Ravens #1 and Kindle.

    Thumbs down

Flacco didn't have a very good game tonight, but it wouldn't have mattered. The secondary got exposed tonight as a secondary on about the same level as Pittsburgh's secondary. When the pressure is there, they are good. Tonight the pressure wasn't there and they got eaten alive by San Diego's receivers. The road problems are also disturbing. If Pittsburgh grabs the division and the Ravens have to play three road playoff games, they are done. Flacco's play tonight was just representative of the entire team's play away from home. 7-0 at home, 3-4 on the road. That is all you need to look at to know there is no way that they go on the road and win 3 straight playoff games. John better call Jim and give him all the help he can for tomorrow night. The Raven's final fate rests on that game.

you can't win with these homers. A guy sees what the true fan sees and you want to put him down. Would you not take Brees over Flacco? Flacco is just plain bad at times in games and tonight in the stands it looked like he gave up. He at times just doesn't seem to smart. Sad but when are you guys going to realize an average qb could have won 10 games with our defense, before tonight that is. With the weapons Flacco has to have a rating below 80 is just bad qb ing. Say what you want but Dilfer would lead this team to a SB victory if he was still playing.

Reed was the problem tonight. Read other peoples threads and comments but ask anyone at the game, they all saw Reed being yelled at by Williams.

No he would not. The league is different now and our D is not the same as when we won the SB. Pittsburgh seems to do pretty well without Brees, or Brady, or Rodgers, or even Manning.

We should get a new OC before we give up on Joe. He had a bad game and is inconsistent at times. Still, I'd like to see what another coordinator could do with this offense.

And Joe and Cam have nothing to do with the defense, which got schooled by Rivers.

You've proven to be an idiot in the past but this takes the cake. Of course we would take Brees over Flacco. I would also take Charles Woodson over Cary Williams but you gotta take what you have on the team. This isn't Madden 12

Ed looked like he spent all night trying to jump a route or three underneath to Gates or McMichael and go the other way. Frankly, I think Pagano should have had the corners play more press coverage at the line. Williams and Smith can be physical CBs, and both guys actually PREFER that style of play. Maybe my memory is off because of how bad it all was, but I could swear they were giving big cushions to those guys all night long. When that wasn't working, which was obvious pretty early, I don't think he adjusted very well.

Didn't see all of the Chiefs / Packers game, but I heard an analyst in the final minute say that the Chiefs were playing a lot of press and knocking guys like Nelson, Finley, and Jennings off their routes early. That's the key to slowing down any of these elite passing games, you HAVE to disrupt their timing. You're going to give up some big plays, but the alternative is that they just consistently eat you up for 60 minutes. If you don't do something to disrupt the route right off the snap, the good QB / veteran WR combos that have been playing together for years will turn it in to a no-contact 7-on-7 drill.

Don't even THINK about trying to pry Pey the GOAT away from us.

I will travel to West Side Ozzie's office directly and personally sabatoge/jam the phone lines myself.

Who the hell wants him? Flacco might not be having the best year but at least he's not one bad fall away from being wheelchair bound for the rest of his life

Unless Ozzie plans on using Brees in pass coverage or to kick field goals under 40 yards i don't see what difference he would have made
