2) More feared than his replacement(s)- singles hitters who don't produce in RBI situations are not feared by anyone, except their teammates when they see him step to the plate with the potential tying or winning run on 3rd. and that's not who you want to strike fear into. The fact that several other players on the O's managed to outproduce him in the RBI category is proof positive that the RBI opportunities were there, but he couldn't get the job done. this is compounded by the fact that you have just called those players "losers". if he's getting outproduced in all but one category, by losers, he's in sad shape.

3) He's entertaining to watch - no he isn't. see how easy that was to dispute. my opinion cancels out your opinion. now he's back to zero. he has a very taste specific entertainment quality. he appeals to fans with an affinity for aging Latino men ballplayers. it's been several years since he could swing at balls over his head and hit HRs. now he can't hit HRs if the pitch is a regular fastball right down the center of the plate, and the catcher tells him it's coming.

Bob's your uncle
There's only one part of your post deserving of a response so here goes. What's "Bob's your uncle" mean? Is that another Brit phrase that I didn't pick up helping clients in Australia and New Zealand? Anyway, have a good day mate. Cheers.
