You don't think they'll use gay soldiers as an excuse to go on a killing rampage?

Should obama apologize when/if afghans go on killing spreeds due to homosexuals serving in afghanistan?

I would hope you say no, beucase that would FINALLY have a point where muslims can't cross.
The short answer to your question is it's stupid and NO. Why, do you ask? These aren't stupid people. As a whole they are way more in-tune with the US then you'd like to believe. The reason they won't go on a rampage over gay soldiers is because they haven't already. You don't think they already know, and have known, that we have gay soldiers? I'm fairly certain there will be no sudden rampage over something they've known for likely years.

Why do you say things like this? Do even know or care that your claim is untrue?

I wouldn't either way. Can you imagine having done three tours of combat duty and you made it home to a loved one while so many others didn't make it? If there was ever a reason for a PDA, that's it.

I saw this photo posted with a number of other 'gays kissing in media' photos on HuffPo yesterday. I definitely enjoyed the female ones.

Obviously, the two guys love each other. They don't need my permission and I don't have a problem with that.

Why do you keep assuming they don't already know that gay soldiers are serving in Afghanistan. That assumption presumes a very high-level of both ignorance and stupidity on the part of the Afghans. I assure you they are already aware, and have been for some time, that we have homosexuals serving there.

Not just Wikipedia. I don't have to have gone to Afghanistan to research just about every claim you make.

I doubt that you've ever stepped foot outside of Maryland.

A more perfect couple, Sage ? Really ?

It seems pretty clear to me that most homo couples mimic heteros whether they realize it or not. I mean, is there any doubt that Sgt. Morgan is the girl/catcher/bottom in this relationship ?

Yes. There is doubt, it doesn't always work out like you think. But I have inside knowledge so you can be forgiven your assumptions. Even if you are right..so what? As far as mimicking heteros, that's an unwarranted conclusion. There are only so many sexual variances, this couple can hardly be said to be mimicking heterosexuals.

I think some gay guys mimic women, although its beyond me why, but the sex between two men like this couple strikes me as just their natural predilection.

I have to agree; it looks staged and deliberately provocative, perhaps even artless for the sake of art. If one wishes to do something truly memorable one should try to show a little class as well as merit while doing it. I would have rather viewed a more spontaneous moment, one of truer affection and capture without the collaborative contrivance of the “historical moment” motif.

    But what the hey!

You get what you pay for.

Maybe tomorrow the gods will bring something better.

It would be grossly inappropriate for a female military member in uniform to do that to her husband in public. This is no more appropriate.
