    Default Chief U.S. District Judge sends racially charged email about president

    Chief U.S. District Judge Richard Cebull on Wednesday admitted to sending a racially charged email about President Barack Obama from his courthouse chambers.

    excerpt...

    ...

    The subject line of the email, which Cebull sent from his official courthouse email address on Feb. 20 at 3:42 p.m., reads: "A MOM'S MEMORY."

    The forwarded text reads as follow:

    "Normally I don't send or forward a lot of these, but even by my standards, it was a bit touching. I want all of my friends to feel what I felt when I read this. Hope it touches your heart like it did mine.

    "A little boy said to his mother; 'Mommy, how come I'm black and you're white?'" the email joke reads. "His mother replied, 'Don't even go there Barack! From what I can remember about that party, you're lucky you don't bark!'"

    .....

    Cebull is a GWBush appointee.

    Bad taste, but hardly racially charged. I guess you cannot mention Obama is half black.

    The judge himself said he knew it was racist. You folks will try to get away with denying anything.

    What is racist about it?

    Is it dumb for a judge to send it from his official email?

    Yes, idiotic. I hate those forwarded emails.

    Why do the leftwingers continuously bring up Barry Obama's race as an excuse as to his pitifully poor performance as president?

    Is it the implication that sleeping with a black man is like sleeping with a dog?
    I did not see that at first but I guess that is the mean edge to the joke.
    Either way it is bad taste and should not have been forwarded via official email.

    I didn't see it as racist. If the intent was as stated above then I would say it most certainly is. Agree that it is in bad taste.

    The professional libbies here are fed a daily dose of talking points with the sole purpose to distract from the real problem. The dark cloud hanging over our country in the form of 0 and his doing with less 0conomy.

    They want you to think about:
    racism;
    women's rights;
    corruption on the GOP side.

    These are all ancillary issues that distract from what this is all about:
    changing the foundation of the US of A;
    unacceptable high unemployment;
    doing with less
    gas prices
    0-care
    etc.

    This is kind of stunning. It won't hurt the President one bit, but imagine someone like this being a district judge. Holy moly. Don't know what's worse--the vulgarity of the joke or the profound stupidity of forwarding it. Vulgar and dumb, what a great combo.

    Someone with that poor judgment shouldn't be sitting on the Federal bench.

    I think it was more a knock on his mother for supposedly having sex with anything.

    To think this guy is actually a Chief U.S. District Judge with such terrible judgement. Sorry, he needs to find another job.

    I think it's racist. Take the word Barrack out of it and see if you don't think so. It implies that his mother had to be loose to conceive a child with a black man. Then the bark comment was added to emphasize the racists' view that blacks are animals and not people.

    That's a good point, but I doubt Bush was aware of this character flaw when he nominated him.

    Absolutely.

    I post about the education, 0conomy, jobs, GDP, foreign policy, necessarily sky-rocketing energy prices, fundamentally transforming the US of A, and how 0's bad ideas are making things worse. I also post about the LFBC, 0's ties and collaboration with the MB, and the lack of college transcripts.

    American Thinker's articles are nice and short and are typically about the subjects I care about. I also post from biggovernment, redstate, DU, LAT, NYT, The Nation, and more

    I am sure that these subjects are not the favorites of the professional libbies here.

    My question to you is, since you have got on the make fun of American Thinker bandwagon, are you a professional libbie too?

    It appears that way as you avoid talking about the core subjects.

    Enough said. Picture books are OK, but sometimes you need to read nonfiction.
