I have heard that as well by many folks here... People refer to DE as the most northern southern state.. whatever that means LOL..

Salesianum is the most celebrated private school in DE and boasts by far the most state championships in boys athletics.. They are an all male Catholic private with all boys.. about 1200... Most the people in power in DE and the DIAA are Sallies grads (so is the guy who writes the articles for the News Journal)... Here is the kicker.. Sallies is in Wilmington which is 56% AA.. Salesianum has a less than 1% AA enrollment.. Of 1200 boys only 8 are AA... I don't even know how that is possible in this day and age... They do get over half their students from PA and Jersey though. The Catholic network rules the day here and that was a big part of why they squashed Red Lion.. Caravel is next on their hit list.. they built up while everyone was woriied about what Red Lion was doing LOL
