Could you give us a link to this, please?

Also Aaron Wilson is a member of the press. I believe the Ravens are one of these "clandestine" teams in the Peyton chase that we keep reading about. They aren't showing their cards. He only knows the company line they're giving everyone.

    Are YOU Aaron Wilson???

The links given before aren't what I asked for. I know about the organizational quotes. I don't recognize the source of the 2nd one, but that was postgame AFC Championship and not in the midst of this negotiation.

Why hasn't Coach Harbs said anything publicly about Flacco since negotiation time has started?

I think Flacco's public statements have gotten him in trouble. Or at least out of favor. Especially his agent's recent comments.

I apologize for my yelling, too; I think this topic conjures up frustration from both perspectives.

Peej, I don't see how a Patrick Willis trade is an analogy. First of all, we're not talking trade. Secondly, Willis at MLB has a world of respect from the league, that's why he has made multiple pro bowls. Third, he is widely considered the best player on their D and is the clear leader of their D. Can we sub in Flacco and offense for those statements?

Again, I don't hate Flacco. I hate feeling like we are hiding his weaknesses from the league and that they will soon expose this and shut us down. The things most QBs seem to have, default, are struggles for Flacco: ability to audible, depth of field vision, read-and-react decisionmaking. Perhaps he would've done better with a different O-Coord. But now that they are married to Cameron, something else has to give. Before all this talk about PEyton, I was touting that they fire Cameron and hire Hue Jackson or even John Shoop. THAT was my first hope, not getting rid of Flacco.

I didn't start this thread, ken. If it's so dumb, take a pass on reading it, brainstein. And what if his new team is here? Will you be mad and hate the Ravens?

Manning's not coming here. The coach, GM, and owner already stated they're committed to the QB they already have

ROFL @ the Dolphins....they thought they had Pey signed and sealed and delievered. Now they've lost out on him as well as Griff/AL....and figure they'll be in a dog fight w/CLE just to get the last resort Flynn. So much for that bill board.

Peyton is going to the Broncos. They have plenty of cap space for Peyton and some supporting personnel. The Ravens do not.

Lee Evans holds on to that pass and the Ravens are playing in the Super Bowl. That would give him half of Peyton's total. That's in Joe's 4th season. I think we'll be just fine with Joe.

Ken: You didn't answer my question. And Coach H has never said that.

Baltimoreon: Are you satisfied with "close"? I'm not. The dysfunctional relationship between Flacco and Cameron must be blown up. A QB coach has NOT helped in the past.

    I agree. I can't wait.
And I will enjoy two things: Indy sucking without Peyton and Baltimore beating Peyton's new team.

Coach John Harbaugh endorsed Joe Flacco as his quarterback of the future and hinted after Sunday's season-ending loss that he had played well enough to be considered for a contract extension.

"Obviously, he played well enough to win this game. I think his best football is in front of him," Harbaugh said. "He's only getting better. He's our kind of guy. He's a tough guy, a competitive guy. He's a leader, and I just can't wait to see where this thing goes with him.

Like I've repeated 1000 times, Coach H has not said that IN THE MIDST OF SIGNING SEASON. Right after an emotional loss is damage control.

If you had read this thread, you'd know the context.

There is no success for you since you renounced your Manning campaign. You know in your heart of hearts that the Ravens weren't going to make a serious run at him. They will be giving a QB a blockbuster contract but it won't be Manning it will be their QB Joe Flacco per Aaron Wilson (don't disrespect him or I will cuss you out again).

I didn't want to cuss you out but you kept pushing and pushing this campaign. You can hold out hope but it's not going to matter, Manning is going to be a Titan or a Bronco. Far as Aaron Wilson he is a good insider, he's doesn't have an agenda like Mike Preston or other big mouth insiders, he does his job the right way.
