That is the trade off: fewer ineligibles vs more people who will need to make a little bit efforts to have an ID.

My guess would be the former group is probably 3 or 4 orders of magnitude bigger than the latter. So, as a society we benefit.

It should function as a warning.

    You have no evidence whatsoever.

Since when do we restrict citizens' rights based on a guess?

What's that have to do with anything?

Why do you have such an apparent animus for those at the bottom of the ladder that you have successfully climbed?

Actually I tend to find common ground with righties when it's not a partisan issue such as this is

It's too illustrate how much kaka you're full of when you talk about poor people like you're an expert on them. There are plenty of poor people out here driving cars. I hope they have a license

Once voter id cards are required, they will be registered in a newer database. It would be a very easy task to cross reference the databases, and get a list of those who were registered before and did not get a voter id card. Both the DNC and RNC would no doubt actively follow up on this list.
The problem is that in all the places where they are trying to enact these laws it's clearly not about curbing voter fraud else they would make it ridiculously easy to obtain the necessary ID. Instead they are saying you've gotta have an approved ID and then making it hard to obtain.

Getting a driver's license or state ID card don't immediately come to mind in regards to items/achievements that are hard to get.

Can she prove she's an American citizen with the right to vote?

    How?

PS - Why should an 80-year-old woman who's getting a ride to the gun store have to go back and get anything at all -- she is an American citizen and has a right to a firearm.

That's one of the biggest loads of absolute crap that you've posted to date.

Sell that nonsense at the next Klan meeting -- you'll find a more receptive audience. And yes -- the idea that Democrats have kept poor minorities poor so that their votes can be bought with government handouts is racist at its core. It states that the minority poor cannot think for themselves and determine which party has their interests in the party's agenda. If any group has shown a lack of thought in their voting patterns it's poor whites, who consistently let their fears and prejudices move them to vote for politicians who support systems that exploit them and make working their way out of poverty more difficult every year.

Nope. Try again. Libbies keeping people on the plantation dole is racist to its core. Now, even you know.

identification, a Georgia Voter Identification Card is now available FREE
of charge at your county registrar’s office or any Department of Driver

Very few of my poor neighbors have cars -- very few -- they take the bus to work. You're so out of touch it's pathetic. Where did your "I made it; if they haven't it's because they're not as good as me" attitude come from.

I'm not sure, It could have been the busting my arse in school to graduate despite growing up poor. Or maybe it was the 8 years in the military protecting people like you. Or maybe it was the busting my behind to get a degree while I was in to include studying after spending a 14 hour day in a forest in Germany in 10 degree weather. I'm not sure which

You need validation and recognition for your life? Say no more. You are a good man.

Wrong -- again; but then you have advocated exterminating the poor, or at least the poor who won't willingly become wage slaves.

It helps to put the rantings of the poverty pimpers in its proper place.
