I think that Sigma Lady is spot on. I drive lots of miles in a number of states including Maryland. The fastest moving cars on the roads are driven by troopers and deputies. They have some responsibility to set an example but they fail that test. When they are in hot pursuit it is another story. They should be using their emergency lights and we should make way for them.

PG County is a disgrace. I just heard on the radio this morning that over 8,000 PG County high school diplomas had the word "program" spelled wrong. What a bunch of morons.

The funny part is that someone is blaming spell check.

A Maryland lawmaker, accused of crimes in two unrelated cases, has been seen driving on a suspended license...

...According to the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration, Alston's driving privileges have been suspended since April 8th, because she failed to appear at a hearing for driving on a suspended registration.

Alston says she had no idea about her driving status and that her staff is investigating it.
