    Default All Baltimore City Teams?

Why can't the Baltimore City coaches meet and put an all-city basketball team together? Every other county/league has done it by now, why can't they?

There are so many things around here that should be done when it comes to high school athletics that aren't done that I honestly believe that the people in charge don't really care much. That's the only reason I can come up with. We've got more people on this message board who really care and who could make better decisions than the people who are actually in control.

    Power Forward- Charles Tapper

The most dominant big man in the city league this year outside of Waters. Not flashy but Tapper carried a very young City team all season. I think he should be 1st team all metro but I don't think he'll get the credit he deserves.

p.s. I think Benefactor is more interested in the All-Baltimore City Girls team.

85knight is right, I saw like 40 girls games this season, and only a handful of boy's games. And I will admit a bias toward City College, so Charles is the man, but here are my 5 best Girl players from last year:

    Qierra Murray, Guard Western
Dyzhanay DaDa Burton, Guard City College
    Shelly Wright, Guard/ Foward Dunbar
    Alexis Harrison, Foward Digital Harbor
    Blair Harding, Guard/forward Poly

Please add some more girls. Let's get this list up to 10-12 girls.

Default all-everything every sport every season every league

In my mind there should be all-city, county, state, conference, etc for every sport for every season public and private.

It should be done by the coaches of that sport.

Nearly every other conference/ county has reported their all star teams to the sun. Baltimore City is a glowing exception. Maybe the picks will come out alongside the all-metro picks, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

IMHO, the all metro 1st team will be

Carr patterson-POY(only because the sun kisses his arse)
    Parks-lake clifton
    Waters-Fp
    Jones-Jc
    Singeltary-Dunbar
    Katrell-MM
    Walker-Edmondson

Who do you think should have been POY? Carr is far and away the best player in the city. He didn't have a monster year points wise but he played a lot more unselfish.

No all Baltimore City team yet again. Good job Bob Wade. And if you're looking for the 2nd team all metro team, the list is jammed into a 2x2 inch box at the bottom of each page. I mean, come on SUN, we can't get some stats or something. And can you at least spell the names right. Two on the girl's Bball list alone. Compare this to the daily press from tidewater VA, and the SUN comes up really short.

I told you not to expect too much from the city. Congrats. on the All-Metro selection though and you're right, they could have atleast spelled her name right.
