I know for a fact a few of Greyhound's not so flattering posts about Calvert Hall football in comparisons to the mighty Gilman Greyhounds were shared in the locker room. They came up with a few adjectives themselves in response to GA's in season comments. Did you introduce yourself by your real name or the guy who posts as GA? LOL
Hahaha! He knows my real name. I have met a few former Cards, like Yarborough and the young Janik. I have had drinks with a few Cards ans Cards parents on a number of occasions and I think they will all tell you that I'm pretty laid back in person. Thomas even hung out with the board at the City-Poly BBQ. We are still trying to get you to come out 92!

All of the kids read this board. In fact, it's not just Baltimore area kids who read. I know for a fact that te GC coaches and players as well as DM reads as well. I also know that some schools even have their administrations reading.

Unfortunately just about everyone in the area knows about this board. That's why it bothers me when I see kids posting on here. In general we are a bunch of adults spouting our opinions and I don't think the kids take it to heart too much. That's just the world we live in now. Information is available to everyone. Whether it be good or bad.

Thomas has his dad to filter out some of this garbage so I'm sure the Stuart family is just fine with or without this thread.

I agree, always bothers me when kids post on here. A few years back there use to be a lot of kids posting. Fortunately not so much anymore.

It is Okay to have opinions. I know I have had mine. This board really has a lot of good people on it. The highlight of my season was a chance to get to Know posters such as GreyHound, Knight, Harco, Gilley, Lord Baltimore. Guro. Meth and others. All these guy are great people and I enjoyed their company. In life in general, most people are good neighbors if you take the time to get to know each other. I still go back to the (Golden Rule) Do on to others as you wish they do on to you. Something I learned at a young age that has stuck with me through out my life. Football is a great Game and the ball just like life takes some funny bounces, in the end it usually ends up right!

I agree. Thomas is a very mature individual and he knows what he is doing. I was surprise when I heard about him going to a junior college but I have chatted with him at least twice and now understand his logic.

By the way, I believe he would be welcomed at any D-1 school as a walk-on. They just don't want to gamble on a short QB. He'll light things up on the West Coast and they will stumble over each other to sign him up as a junior.

Throwing rocks while living in that glass trailer, huh?

Biggest group of hypocrites n Baltimore, this so called "football Jedi" group.

Every one of you sit in judgment of every player you talk about! Good or not so good, YOU ALL DO THE EXACT SAME THING!

And then if anyone disagrees with your "high and mighty" opinions about "how good is he" you all get together and lash out.

Clown college, that's what you all resemble, a bunch of fools living vicariously through a bunch of little kids playing a game.

    Sad.
Lmao!!!!! Sorry but that is funny eventho he is ignorant. Just curious but have you ever watched his son play? I noticed that You criticize a lot of poster kids on here.

Most of the best HS football players I have watched over the years never played a down in college. There is no shame in that. College football is just a bigger mans game. I'm referring to real HS football not the hackneyed version you get when a rich guys buys a HS football team so he can act like an NFL owner by drafting 13 and 14 year kids to build dynasties so that alums can pound their chests even though their sons are sitting next to them in the bleachers. That's not HS football but I guess if you bought into that and paid 100K for tuition, trainers, combines and camps for a free education and you didn't get a scholarship you might feel like you got cheated. That's why I prefer the American original. If you play real HS football you can still wreak havoc on the gridiron with a big heart and a big set of onions. Those kinds of guys are some of the best HS football players I have ever seen. They get their muscles for free in their HS weight room and spend their weekends chasing bikinis in OC instead of paying big bucks to hang out with a bunch of dudes at a football combine. For most kids, the sooner they realize that high school football is the pinnacle of the sport the better off they are. College football ain't all its cracked up to be anyway. Almost nobody plays college football and on top of the 100K you paid for a shot it will almost certainly cost you another handful of concussions before you are done. Everybody knows that the more concussions you suffer playing football the more likely you are to spend time on a message board like this discussing football. Using myself as a benchmark I'll bet I can tell you how many concussions every board member with @ least 500 posts has suffered in their lifetime plus or minus one. Try me.

The best HS player I ever saw was a kid from Polk HS in Chicago. He scored 4 td's in a single game. He is a living legend who never played football in college.

I see you mixed up "you're" and "your" in the same sentence again. Glad to see all is the same on your front as well!

I use a PDA my friend with auto-correct, I don't care enough to proof read my messages on a high school sports board. But you are all is the same, life is still great and Oil Can is still bitter. Let it go, you will feel such relief!!

Thomas has his dad to filter out some of this garbage so I'm sure the Stuart family is just fine with or without this thread.
The kids DO indeed take it to heart. The reason I joined this board is because of something posted on here that got back to my son and a stupid decision my son made because of the small notoriety here. Despite my advice and guidance. I mostly lurk, so that I can figure you guys out and who you are. This whole thread is a whopper fer sure!

Fortunately your son has you to filter out some of the garbage just like Thomas has his dad. We all have a tougher job as parents today because of all the information that's out there. We do get carried away sometimes on this board but I think in general most people on here don't mean any harm.

    Good luck with your son.
