Last time I looked, I saw the Ravens won those games... and Flacco is a member of the Ravens team. Sometimes it was running, sometimes it was the D, sometimes (Pittsburgh, Arizona, St. Louis) it was the passing game.

Your stats are average at best.....2011 Flacco 3610yds 20TD 12INT 2011 Sanchez 3474yds 26TD 18INT. In New York they are trying to replace Sanchez and you hear talk that even the players dont want him anymore. John Skelton and Rex Grossman averaged more passing yards per game than Flacco...enough said. Top 15 at best
How many games did Skelton and Grossman and their team win?

    "...enough said"???

    You haven't said anything!

Exactly.....you just made my point for me....average QB's without the benefit of a great defense (like baltimore) and you get 5-11, like Washington. Flacco had almost identical stats as Sanchez and similar playoff success early in his career. Dont hear anyone crying Sanchez is the best QB in the NFL. If you think Flacco is carrying the Ravens to all these wins you are a fool. His stats put him right about where most people thinks he should be, about 15 (12th in passing yards last yr.) His threw the ball to Ray Rice 76 times (2nd most for a RB in the NFL)....wow, you think thats impressive ? Sorry, having a running back as your leader in receptions doesn't make you the best QB in the NFL.

And just FYI....Joe Skelton was 5-2 as a starter last year for Arizona.

You are picking a fight for the wrong reasons...and looking stupid for doing so.

Sanchez had the same or similar stats as Flacco? Sanchez played 5 top 10 defenses - and lost them all! Flacco faced 12 and won them all.

Flacco did his job within the scheme that was dictated by the personnel on hand. However, I remember a few times (pittsburgh twice, Arizona 2nd half, Houston, New England) when he had to carry the team and did so!

What I think is impressive about Flacco is his standing as the winningest QB in his first four years in the history of the NFL.

Do I think he is the best QB in the NFL? Two answers: 1) No and 2) where he ranks on a fantasy football roster is totally irrelevant.

Nobody is picking a fight....its a joke for Flacco to say that he is the best QB in the NFL and more of a joke for anyone to entertain the thought that he is even close. The point im making is that Flacco has benefited greatly from an outstanding Ravens defense and running game. He is quick to take credit for all the success that the Ravens have had, when his stats show that he is nothing more than an average QB. No one is talking about fantasy football, i just put up the stat that shows he was 12th in the league in passing yards. Just like Parcell says "you are what your record says you are". Same goes for Flacco....somewhere between 10-15th in the league.

Flacco threw for 176 yards against Houston...thats carrying the team ? The Patriots have the worst pass defense in the NFL and he got 300yds and 2TD against them, good QB's average 300 a game. Take a look at his stats the last 3 years...he hasnt gotten any better. Every year @3600 yards @20-25TD and 12 INT.

Making the comparison between Flacco and Sanchez statistically is easy, their numbers are almost the same. Tought to compare wins and losses because the Ravens are a better team than the Jets.

Flacco needs to get a clue before he makes rediculous statements. He is lucky to play in Baltimore, a team with a great defense and great running game. Learn to throw to your WR instead of dumping the ball off to Ray Rice and watch him run 20yds after the screen pass.

Joe Flacco can say whatever the **** he wants you son of a *****, who the **** are you to tell him what to say you piece of ****. You can compare him to Sanchez all you want but I don't recall the Ravens making a hard run at Peyton Manning or Tim Tebow yet the Jets did and now Sanchez will be lucky to keep his job. Far as him needing to learn to throw to his receivers if he had receivers who could make big catches in big moments consistently maybe he wouldn't have to rely on Ray Rice so ****in much. Go to hell before I send you there personally you piece of ****, now you got me cussing damn mother ****er.

Flacco can say what ever he wants (none of it is true), and I can say whatever I want as well. His stats are the same as Sanchez, the Ravens didnt make a run at Manning because they cant afford to pay him dummy. I tell you what else you dont see the Ravens doing, they certainly dont seem to be in a big hurry to give "the best QB in the NFL" a contract extension So its all the receivers fault that Flacco's top WR is a RB...wah wah wah...grow up and get a clue...he is average at best. Would you send me to hell the same way you carved up the guy in Atlanta years ago....we all know you are handy with a shank......

You might call it a joke, but most of us (and his teammates by the way) heard it as a confident player. No one should ever (and I mean EVER) step on an NFL football field and not believe he is the best!

The point im making is that Flacco has benefited greatly from an outstanding Ravens defense and running game.
From many comments that have been heard or read, the defense and running game also have benefitted from the fact that this QB has done the job when asked. When not throwing for TDs, he was getting that one more 1st down completion on 3rd and 9 that allowed the defense to stay off the field for another 3 minutes or got the offense closer for an easier field goal.

He is quick to take credit for all the success that the Ravens have had, when his stats show that he is nothing more than an average QB. No one is talking about fantasy football, i just put up the stat that shows he was 12th in the league in passing yards. Just like Parcell says "you are what your record says you are". You are projecting your hatred onto the young man...most of us do not think he takes credit, in fact, he usually deflects credit onto his OLine, RB and Receivers. When he "takes credit" he is usually pulling the media's leg!

Check out the stats for any QB on a run-oriented team that plays 1/2 of its games in a wind-blown stadium and you will find Flacco near the top.

"...You are what your record says you are..."? Flacco was the fourth best QB in the NFL last year. THAT, Mr. Troll, is an NFL fact you cannot deny!

Yards don't matter, when those yards occur does matter.

In the Houston game, there were at least 12 sacks, knock-downs and hurries at the hands of the Nbr 2 defense in the NFL! And yet, Flacco was 7-10 on third down passing with no INTs.

In the NE game, on the road, Flacco outplayed your boy Brady and the pundits said that he proved he could play with the best. It's to his, and the Ravens credit, that we have never heard a word of criticism from the team about Lee Evans's inability to hold onto the winning TD pass.

Making the comparison between Flacco and Sanchez statistically is easy, their numbers are almost the same. Tought to compare wins and losses because the Ravens are a better team than the Jets.
...and yet you never heard the national pundits complaining about Flacco's work ethic (Sanchez's yes you did) or about the questionable decisions he made during games (Sanchez, you heard it all the time).

I will say it again - and use really small words for you - Flacco faced 12 (count 'em T W E L V E) top 10 defenses in 2011 and his team won all 12 games! Sanchez faced 5 and was 2-3 against them.

Flacco needs to get a clue before he makes rediculous statements. He is lucky to play in Baltimore, a team with a great defense and great running game. Learn to throw to your WR instead of dumping the ball off to Ray Rice and watch him run 20yds after the screen pass.
I believe someone else needs to get a clue! (Big hint here!)

Flacco is lucky to play for a team that will benefit from his strengths. However, if you ask the defensive stars, especially after both Pittsburgh games, both Houston games, even the New England game, they would consider themselves lucky too.

I guess Torrey Smith racked up 850 yds all by himself last season, Bolden found his 750 yds under his Christmas Tree and the TE twins combined for another 800 yds by throwing the ball to themselves, huh?

From where I sit, although I would rather SugarRay52 not get so carried away, it looks like you are the problem here!

Please get over it...this site is for talk about football and NOT about your personal problems.

No....they instead complain (and ridicule) his inflated sense of self and ego....what else is there to do when he calls himself the 'best QB in the NFL?'

As for Sanchise....it is NY. You hear stuff about him all the time.....lot of it rumors and innuendo. If he digs up his nose.....it is borderline national news.

Calm down Sugar...if you take this troll out, remember the Ravens have a saying "next man up"? We on this board have a similar saying: "next troll up"!

We're just getting use to ALong...! Please don't make us have to train another troll!

Who are the "they" you cite, but refuse to specify? Please don't say "Bristol" because they have almost as little credibility as you have.

"One of the strongest throwing arms in the NFL" Phil Simms

"Best at completing the out pattern I have seen in years" John Madden

One of the better completion averages on third downs, 14 of 21 against Pittsburgh for example.

Mobility - Ben or Sanchez never racked up a 58-yd TD run.

"Flacco is starting to extend plays like Rothelsberger does" Al Michaels recapping the Bal - Pit game.

I could go on, but why bother. You will just ignore these and make another smarmy comment.

Because they've never needed to.....they have these little things we like to call playmakers.

This a football board so I suggest you discuss football and if you want to rant about me you do it in private. I already reported you and I will happily do it again if need be.
