Cool. Who's he playing for? Aberdeen? Delmarva?
Delmarva. Can't imagine he'll be there long though with his talent.
Bundy's out of the game now after 3 innings of work.
He got 6 ks in 3 innings with only throwing 21 pitches. He also threw 21 strikes, meaning he didnt throw a single ball.
This kid is special.
Edit: Nevermind. Pitch count on MiLB.com is broken.

Please please please, don't listen to a thing they tell you there, Dylan.
during tonight's game, Palmer said he would be surprised if Bundy wasn't up with the O's this season.
Like with every player, 95% of whether they succeed in the pros is up to them. Either they "get it", or they don't. I don't buy the idea that the Orioles system / coaches have somehow ruined most of their high picks... I just think they've had a tendency to pick the guys who don't quite get it.
Hopefully Bundy turns out to be the sort of player that figures it out himself...
As far as reaching the majors... elevate the guy from one level to the next whenever you think he has no more to prove there. If that takes 1 year, so be it. If it takes 3, so be it. The phenoms and perennial all-stars will generally work their way up very, very fast.
Bundy start #2
3 IP 0H 0BB 6 K's.
Dave Cameron of Fangraphs at the game "Kid is sick. Does not belong here. Best changeup seen at this level since Hamels. Fastball command is ridiculous"
Waited until 3rd inning to throw curve. K'd all 3 on his curve that inning.
God I need to go see this kid pitch soon. Hopefully he's in Frederick sooner rather than later.
you hope a kid with this level of talent (compared to other players his age or a few years older) runs into, deals with, and overcomes any adversity/challenges at the level he's playing at now (minors), so he's fully MENTALLY prepared by the time he comes to the bigs, but if this kid is as good as everyone says, this might not happen and he might just fly up here pretty quickly. I can see a scenario where they bring him up this year -- a bunch of "ifs", but if we have injuries galore like last year to our starters, and it's clear that Bundy is an order of magnitude better and more confident than the rest of the starters who didn't make the cut to make the rotation, and if the O's don't go into a tailspin in a couple months (in other words, if they play decently not just at the beginning and end, but in the middle of the season) and as an result are actually I think they'll call him up....
No way they start the clock on him this year. What will be interesting is if he sees AA and AAA this year. The plan when the year started was A ball and AA this year, AA and AAA in 2013 and try to make team out of Spring Training in 2014.
Remember, he faced high school seniors, juniors and sophomores last year. He needs to progress no further than Frederick this year.
I wish politics weren't involved. If he has major league talent then bring him up. Why prolong the inevitable. If he can help the team win then bring him up. If he can help the team get going in the right direction bring him up. I always feel like the O's save their eggs adn think in one year they are going to make a boom rather than add a few pieces each year.
