I thought Chen was obviously done too but hell he would've gotten out of it with the O's still up 4-2 if Reynolds makes that play at third. The bottom of the lineup isn't as horrible as people are saying. Andino is a decent hitter, he's hitting 9th because it puts him in front of the top of the order once the lineup cycles through. And Reynolds started slow last season too, once he starts clouting the ball he can atone for these defensive miscues.
