So? There is nothing inherently wrong with that, if by communist you mean someone who adheres to the economic doctrine of Marx. (Despite what Ronald Reagan used to imply, nothing in the Constitution says that our country is capitalist by definition.)

So you see nothing wrong with a political philosophy that bans private property and makes citizens property of the government?

I think his number may a little low. There at least 75 members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. I'm sure there are many more of those filthy bastards hanging around down there.

Wow so in your world simply being a progressive is enough to be labeled a "filthy bastard"? WOW, I think that says a whole lot more about you than it does about any of the "filthy bastards" you're talking about.

Ask any Cuban you want if they are a "free person". They will all answer in the affirmative (unless they are inmates).

Then he obviously woundn't know what freedom is.

Do you support communism and think it would be a good system to have here? Maybe you should since the people you hate so much own most of the property.

Some people - including the illustrious congressman - have absolutely no idea what the definition of "communist" is.

My definition is the same as the dictionary definition:
    communism [kom-yuh-niz-uhm]
    noun
    1. a theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state.

    2. (often initial capital letter) a system of social organization in which all economic and social activity is controlled by a totalitarian state dominated by a single and self-perpetuating political party.

Yeah, and how does that vary from what I said? The government owns all property including the people.

Not sure I understand your point. Who in Congress believes in that kind of social/political system? (The answer is "none", so far as I'm aware.)
