The Orioles' lineup is so bad that...

...Felix Pie would look like a "hitting machine" if he was still with the team

The Orioles' lineup is so bad that...

They've played 5 games and have a winning record.

And likely the last time they'll see this side of .500 in 2012.

The Orioles' lineup is so bad that...

...that they have not one but two First Baseman that bat 8th

It's one thing when you give your starting First Baseman a day off and bat your backup First Baseman 8th but to put a roster together with two First Baseman that bat 8th ?????

See, there's your mistake. They don't have any starting first baseman. They have two first basemen, and one of them has to start.

Ranger fans coming to an Orioles board to just to bash the Orioles is very Joe Cool-like.

Nah, they come here just to poke fun regardless of how the O's do, then disappear again.

I've been a steady presence on this board, and my criticism of this putrid franchise has never wavered, because they've never stopped deserving it. You on the other hand are perfectly content watching the team get run further and further into the ground. If you don't care about the team being run like garbage, then you don't care about the team at all.

But then we all knew that.

And that has been a presence of chronic complaining.

I've never seen you give a compliment to the Orioles when something good happens. Everything good is downplayed. Everything bad is played up to its most extreme doom.

You lay in the weeds, waiting to strike in opportunistic fashion should they lose or a bad patch happens. You've already announced you are a Rangers fan so in that accurate context you are no different than Joe Cool or Bert.

Doesn't it get a little tedious?

And your mistake is thinking I give a damn if anyone cares or not. If you have no problem being lied to every year, that's your prerogative.

Did you enjoy the game tonight, are you beginning to see the improvements? No of course you can't because it is far too easy to ***** and tell everybody that 'I told you so'! As for most of us posters on here we do care about our team because it is "our" team so we get a little fed up with posters such as yourself that just piss and moan, post after post after post and have nothing new to say or any reasoned input to offer.

Seriously Travis give it a rest.

Slide has been here since day 1 and has cared a lot more about the O's then you have.

The sad part about you is that if you simply admitted that you were just happy to have a team regardless of the won/loss record and that you can understand that fans like slide and many others are upset (because they care about the record and the perception of the team) you wouldn't get so much grief.

    You're disingenuous and an antagonist.

    You reap what you sow.

Sunspot "day 1" was in 1997.

I've been here since 1999 so even I can't say that.

....its not even worth making jokes about. Its borderline saddening to see how pitiful that team....n/m the lineup....actually is.
