Default Harford County woman indicted for child sex

"According to investigators, Carroll and the teen moved beyond the video game to forming a relationship via Skype that became physical when the woman allegedly drove 800 miles to meet him in a Southwest Florida hotel."

Third attempt at this. I guess Matt is deleting my posts...

When I saw this story in the news I thought of the original poster because I know that she like to start threads on this type of crime (white/suburban).

Matt, If you feel the need to delete this please tell me why.

Why are you blaming me for deleting your posts, which I didn't do?

Somebody complained that you were comparing the OP with an accused child molester. Since you didn't elaborate, I can understand why it would be deleted.

The post was clear. The OP does not like being exposed.

This would not constitute a crime in Maryland where the legal age is 16, but in Florida, the laws are different.

It’s a crime for 16 or 17-year olds to have sex with anyone over the age of 23.
Looks like she should have researched Florida law before the trip.

    Well, don't worry sigmalady.

Unless the "female sentencing discount" kicks in (and it probably won't, she isn't pretty) she'll be treated the same as if this young man was 6, not 16 and you can go to sleep feeling smug that a horrid child molestor is off our streets and the world is a Safer Place for Democracy and all that.

Why would I go to sleep feeling smug? I question her sanity, that's a long way to go to get something that's available at home.

I saw the mugshot and initially thought it they had the wrong photo. She looks, shall we say... "masculine."

I wonder if Mr Carroll was a little surprised at this?
