Sorry but no one should have to get a prescription for OTC meds just to avoid the over-reaching hands of the government.

I think that it's really odd that you insist that I do as you say. It's my business how and why I handle my medical/prescription care. Not yours.

Let's be real, people. It's not a Police State; pseudoephedrine is an ingredient in Crystal Meth. The laws are to prevent dealers/producers from going door to door to buy large quantities. This at worst an unintended consequence. It looks like the problem here was the arresting officer and whom ever didn't just send the woman home once they checked her out.

The Founding Fathers totally miscalculated the degree of tyranny present in the bureaucracy.

Try and consider that if you run around crying "Tyranny" every chance you get you go a long way toward desensitizing the population to the real thing should it come around.

You ideas on what is tryannical are childish in the extreme. Read the history of real tyrannts; get some perspective.

After 12 years in government schools , unfortunately, most Americans have accepted as true that the government has the lawful authority to intervene or regulate your right to self medicate.

The indoctrination they do at these school.s

Funny also how schools are basically like prisons now. Before they used to be daycare centers where you learn something, now they are in essence prisons.

Once I read the part about the methadone and drug paraphernalia in the car I stopped feeling sorry for the woman.

If more people supported ending the drug war it would be great, but let a person running for office mention it seriously.

It's not jus the politicians, people want to have something to say about everything that people do, even when it doesn't have any impact on them.

It's like, As long as I'm judging you, I can feel better about my self.
