I don't know who that writer is, but I assume baseball isn't his usual literary subject. that is so strange. even if this guy knows nothing about baseball, I would think his piece would have been run by the sports editor since it obviously crosses over into that area.

And the point made in the article is a good one - Ozzie gets a suspension for praising Fidel, while Bud can sit next to him at games.
that's right, slobberin' bud takes care of his buddies and craps on every one else...guillen's comments, while ill advised, don't come close to having a MLB team play games in Cuba with slobberin' bud in attendance....it's hypocrisy at it MLB best...
