Default Bads news for the republicans, gas prices are set to drop

This of course is good news for nearly everyone, which of course is bad news for the republicans. The Republicans need the economy to fall apart in order to win and are banking with that strategy.

They already have started dropping at some stations from what I've seen. Started noticing it last weekend.

    It's mixed news.

Oil prices are dropping because it looks like the economy is slowing down. There have been a few lousy economic reports over the past few days.

When the economy looks strong, prices rise. When the economy seems to be weakening, the oil prices fall...

And add to it, at this time of year I believe they switch over to a reformulated composition for summer driving, it creates a minor term shortage.

I am certain gas prices will drop but not until September and October, just prior to the election. That is when the administration will tap the strategic reserve to effect prices

Prices are dropping a few pennies but we're lucky enough to be led by Martin Obama who will add a quarter a gallon tax and why shouldn't he?

Pay our fair share, that's my motto.

This is indeed good news since according to this article Americans spend more on transportation than food or healthcare.

The average American family now spends more than $7,600 annually on transportation, according to a recent government study. To put that amount in perspective, it's more than what's spent on food and over twice as much as on health care. The reason cited by the Treasury Department report is due to the increasing cost of gasoline and, consequently, traveling by car

Gas prices are already dropping in my neck of the woods. Glad Obama took care of that with his super duper powers of manipulating the free market. Righties were hoping to ruin us, as usual.

I could care less if gas dropped to 25 cents per gallon, I would still not vote for the Liar in Chief's re-election.

You and a whole lot of others. Once again you are not unique just one of the crowd who promised top vote for a ham sandwich, Chocolate Lab or a 7yr old before voting for Barack Obama. While none of the afore mention ran for the nomination I guess you'll have to settle for someone who cares about you even less than Barack Obama.

BTW do you know what Mitt thinks about gays and gay rights and does it matter to you ? We all know what he'd say about it if he were speaking at a Gay Ball but what would he say about it at a church function ?

Gas prices will go down by November, why? Because Americans will make them drop if the really get too high by conserving and changing their driving habits. bet on it. (OK you may get those few republicans who will drive their vehicles into the ground, cut back on movies and dining out so they can keep all 3 cars filled so they can drive to the corner store and pleasure cruise up and down the coast to waste gas but the rest of civilized society will cut back. )

It also disrupts the republicans because one of the planks they were going to attack Obama on was gas prices....

I disagree and agree. Most won't cut back driving but the one's who do will make enough difference to affect the price. The lines to pick up kids at school are just as long as ever here even at $3.70 a gallon.

NO. I don't know and I don't care. Because once he's elected hell do nothing to hurt gays. The alternative is a devoted Marxist, a would be King
