I see that you still can't prove him wrong or address the topic.

Lol, if I was the president I will just keep playing the meet the press interview
Romney & Obama - they both suck. Although Romney sucks a lot less than Gingrich, Santorum or Perry. Are the Libertarians running anyone this time?
I hope you all realize that what Romney is doing by lying is to demonstrate his credentials. The Republican base wants to see with what frequency and severity their new savior lies, and the more he does the more they will approve of him.
Judging by the level of discourse on this thread, this is going to be a very illuminating campaign, a real referendum on the issues. The usual progressive posse postulates, "Liar liar pants on fire!" To which the conservatives retort, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me!" The Democrats' nuanced response is "Yo mama!," to which the Republicans factually point out, "Oh yeah? Take this!"
Real mature. Politics has become a joke. When Lincoln debated Douglas thousands of people stood all day in the hot sun to hear what the candidates had to say. Today we can hardly be bothered to follow up on a ten-second sound bite before deciding to vote for the empty suit who best reflects our own preconceptions.
What the man said is either true or it's not; that has nothing to do with whomever asked the question.
If you were a liberal, betamanlet would be pointing out (for the 7,000,000th time) that your personal attacks mean you can't answer, but I don't believe that because, for instance, if I tell someone that 2 plus 2 equals 4 and at the same time tell them that they're an idiot, 2 plus 2 does not become 5.
Please point out a politician who does not make his living by saying what his audience wants to hear (a euphemism for lying). I'm not saying it is admirable, but it is a cause, an effect and a symptom of where the political process is today. Running to the extreme in the primaries, then running to the middle in the general election is standard procedure for both parties, and you are not truthful if you claim otherwise. A politician who speaks the truth and says what he intends to do and tries to do what he says will never be elected.
Contrast what you are saying now to what you said in your second paragraph. Your sentiments now are the prime example of what you were saying then.
