For someone who has, as you put it, studied the game longer..., you come up with some sophmorish ideas. Trade Flacco to NO? It would be the dumbest idea you have developed yet!

Brees is a great player, but, like Ryan (one of your other favorites), playes at least NINE games in a dome. Like Ryan, Brees has incredible accuracy, but a so-so arm in terms of strength. Flacco has accuracy (except when being knocked down or runnig for his life) but his strength is a cannon arm that can power the ball through the windy conditions that affect each AFCN stadium after mid-October.

Remember the last time the Saints came to town, Brees had one TD that was a miraculous catch of a tipped ball. The rest of the game, all he did was dink and dunk (and his team lost by the way).

Short QBs will not play well against the AFC North and has been proven too many times to be in real doubt.

No it's not worth a shout out. Your ego is blinding you to the fact that the Ravens have the winningest QB in his first four years than anyone else in the history of the NFL.

Not bad for a kid who was supposed to hold a clipboard for at least the first season.

But you just don't want to admit it.

    Fool!
So your main cruxt of contention is that Brees can't play outside??!?! HHAHAHA!!! THEY WON A SUPERBOWL OUTDOORS. THEY BEAT TENN @ TENN OUTDOORS. HE PLAYED OUTDOORS AT SD FOR THE FIRST HALF OF HIS CAREER AND IN AFC NORTH-TYPE WEATHER OUTDOORS IN THE BIG 10 IN COLLEGE. That's being simple. His exhorbitant numbers are not simply because he is indoors. They're because he's FRICKING GOOD.

Matt Ryan is not one of my other favorites. Matt Ryan is a brazen leader, like I wish Joe was.

Joe's "great arm" underthrew two TD passes vs. the Patriots that would have sealed the deal.

Brees' "weak arm" HAD MORE 20+ YARD PASSES ON THE ROAD THAN AT HOME. And he had 25 MORE 20+ yd passes than "strong armed" Flacco! Including more on the road than Flacco did at home. 25 is a LOT.

I'm not arguing that Flacco does not have a strong arm, he does, but accuracy counts as much if you aren't very accurate deep. Brees is.

To call me a fool is to expose your own lackluster knowledge. I'll mention this and every idea I have, kid. Skip the topic next time, especially with those novice arguments.

    1. It's unlikely it'll happen.
    2. Cam Cameron is still the limiting factor.
    3. The O-line is still a limiting factor.
O.C.: Thank you for a sensible response.

    1. I know. You're right.
    2. Right again.
    3. I'd argue on this one that it can be adequate.

Show me where I said I study the game more than anyone else?

I HAVE STUDIED the game, over the course of my life, more than most.

I would welcome a tutor. But they would actually have to know the game of football, nto be an expert in namecalling one's own fellow fans and not seeing outside of the box.

My ideas are not that far-fetched, it's just that people are sensitive about Flacco. For the 100th time, I am not against Flacco, just very concerned that Flacco PLUS CAMERON is NOT a winning team. Had we fired Cameron and hired Schottenheimer, Flacco would soar this season. Or even John Shoop, formerly of UNC. But those two hate each other and I feel the front office is behind Cameron. So why not eliminate this issue? TRADE FOR BREES.

I will say this--I have decided that I will always voice my opinions on all things Raven. I have studied this game longer than a lot of people in here, have seen behind-the-scenes--a la, the Super Bowl postgame press conference (and pregame), active locker rooms for 8 NFL teams, training camp non-fan sessions, conversations face-to-face with all-pro players--more than most in here. And I can prove it all right now.
Ok, prove it all right now.
