    Smokey--

So, do you think gay men and straight women should be barred from the Boy Scouts?

No, but I believe as a private organization that is a decision that they have a right to make.

Debate the topic or stay out of my topic, becaues your posts violate the rules here.
In order to debate a topic the original poster must proffer something to debate. Posting a link to this story doesn't cut it. There's nothing to debate, except how lame you are.

How right you are. The only possible debate topic from this is whether this mother has the right to decide whether her son can join the Boy Scouts

Do you recall all the venom directed at the girl in the girlscouts who wanted people to boycott girl scout cookies because they admitted transgender "girls" to the girl scouts?

There are also laws that prevent you from spanking a child. That is telling you how you can raise your child.
heyyy, can you link me to these laws that prevent someone from spanking their child? thank you!

United StatesDespite some opposition to corporal punishment in the United States, the spanking of children is legal in all states.[21] Bans have been proposed in Massachusetts[22] and California[23][24] on all corporal punishment of children, including by parents, but these moves were heavily defeated.[25]

It doesn't really have any thing to do with this topic, since the author isn't asking anyone to do anything.

Hmmm....pulled down pants and underwear and spanked repeatedly and it wasn't his relative, yeah, ok, that's exactly the same as "Spank your child in public. Make sure to have bail money."

A police officer told my disrespectful teenage son a few years ago that if I decided to beat his butt he would have to accept it.
