    Default Fascinating insight into tejada trade

    By Jim Duquette. It was supposed to be Tejada to Ana for Aybar,Santana and Arredando. Says Ana ownership DESPERATELY wanted Tejada but somebody above Jim forced him to substitute Kotchman for Arredando which gave B Stoneman Ana's GM the opening to kill the deal, which he never wanted to make to begin with. What might have been

    I think Patton is the only remnant of that trade still on the roster. The others didn't even become something else, they just walked.
