Here's the problem. The tv does not have a regular audio out that would let me do a direct connect to the speakers. It has a Digital Audio Output that connects, via an optical fiber cable (commercially available), to an optical digital input of an external audio device. That's what my Sharp tv manual says.
My pc speakers do not have an optical digital input... just an input for a standard 3.5 mm pc speaker cable.
Is there any way I can make this work?
Btw, the tv does have inputs with regular audio for connecting dvd's, vcr, game consoles, etc...... but that's input and I need output.
