So, the wife is White and the husband African? Well, the wife had an African surname, so it was reasonable off me to assume that they were both African. This does not alter my original take on the situation. I've said in the past that I take a dim view of interracial marriages. Still, just being interracially married does not mean people should be subjected to harassment. You doi have to wonder about the brains of the hubby. A sane African man does not take his Caucasian wife deep into the heart of Redneckville and expect aa friendly reception.
What is wrong with interracial marriage?
can't wait for the neighborhood block party later this year.
Your racism gets funnier and funnier. What is your racism rooted in? My guess would be fear. You're clearly afraid of white people since you're always accusing the "majority" of some sinister plot. But you also seem to be afraid of black people that think for themselves. So sad.
Playing devil's advocate, isn't it in the realm of possibility that this couple is someone the neighbors have never seen before in their neighborhood attempting entry into what I assume was an empty house? I'm not excusing the gun part of it(a call to 911) may have been more appropriate, but I can see how strangers without a moving truck may have raised suspicions from neighbors. Those cops were idiots though. With incidents like this and Martin not being arrested initially for the Trayvon shooting, I have to wonder how police are being trained these days
Exactly. I have two empty houses in my neighborhood. I think we all keep an eye on them. Under the right circumstances I might call 911. But short of screaming and obvious signs of violence nothing would make me enter the house armed. And the police REALLY screwed up by arresting the wrong group.
I'm not hate filled/prejudiced/bigoted, I just call the racial situation as it is. That makes many people, be they members of the majority, AAs, or whatever racial/ethnic group, quite uncomfortable. I didn't create America's systemic racism, I just realistically describe it.
You don't think that sports, movies, and media push black sex symbols?
But either way I disagree. I think there is less segregation and this simply means that people with diverse backgrounds have more opportunity to meet and fall in love.
I see interracial couples as a positive sign for society.
