    Default O's Jays gamethread

Lots of info. Reimold out with injury, J Johnson and M Reynolds out with the flu and Andino leaving team after the game to go to Miami for birth of his 3rd child. Roster move coming, probably an outfielder according to Roch depending on Reimold's availability for tomorrow. So I'm guessing Strop is closing tonight if we have the chance? So look for Flaherty tomorrow at 2B
    Lineup
    Chavez LF
    Hardy SS
    Markakis RF
    Jones CF
    Wieters C
    Davis 1B
    Betemit DH
    Flaherty 3B
    Andino 2B
    Hunter P

Reimold needs to go see a battery of neck specialists.

Strop has pretty good stuff. Don't like to see JJ out, but Strop has that kind of arm.

Reynolds being out is like an automatic improvement to the lineup.

He's being sent to the Glenn Davis neck institute in Whiplash VA.

Camden Yards is a ghost town.

But not really, because ghost would never go to Camden Yards.

Damn Jones finally lays off 2 breaking balls and still ends up hitting into a double play

Bordick's just gonna be one of these Jim Hunter types huh? GIDP with bases loaded? Hey no problem, scoring first is what matters.

On MLB network radio on Sirius/XM, they joked that he walked a guy just to practice pitching from the stretch.

Bundy and Machado will both end the year as top 5 prospects in baseball. Bundy is the real deal talent wise, question will be can he make adjustments as he rises thru the system, can he avoid serious injury, etc. Usual stuff any great prospect has to face. Numerous scouts say he's the best high school pitcher since D Gooden.

Never sac bunt in AL unless it's bottom of the 9th in a tie game. I'll say it til I'm blue in the face.
