Default Best pitching in the AL East...worst hitting. How'd that happen?

We've just barely given up the fewest runs in the AL East in spite of the errors.

But we're 11 back of the next team in runs.

I did not see being outscored by Tampa...

This whole first place thing is looking like a fluke so far, hopefully Hardy/Reynolds/Betemit gets going soon...

They’ll get going when the pitching goes south, that is usually the way it happens!!

Gotta pat myself on the back. Predicted all winter our pitching would be better than the hitting. Hardy and Reynolds will start producing but other guys will cool off. This team doesn't have a proven LF,1B,2B or DH.

O's hitting will heat up. When that happens the East better beware!

If the O's go back to the philosophy they employed in ST, this won't be an issue. Right now, they aren't taking enough pitches as a team.
Also, Nolan is a huge boost when he's in the lineup - they are going to need him to compete this year. Without him, they don't seem to have another player who can hit from the 1 hole with consistency.

Good luck with that. There's no way that you'll be able to deprive yourself of the intellectual genius exhibited by many posters (that would be me and a few others) on this Board.
