Winning or not.....I have a hard time believing that.

For about 5 years when they first moved to Camden Yards, Oriole tickets were tough to get even against Twins, Mariners etc and almost impossible to get for the Yanks and Red Sox.... Today, it's like if you call them up asking what time the game starts, they will answe what time can you get here.....

As far as indoor sports, Baltimore has the worst arena in the nation bar none... they had the worst arena TWENTY YEARS ago also....

How much of it is due to people not feeling safe in the downtown area. I don't feel safe in the Lexington Market area after dark, and not even in the Inner Harbor now with the recent news reports.

Camden Yards was always part of an Inner Harbor experience. Not as much fun to drive into an Oriole parking lot and drive out without hanging out.

Lexington Market area is slightly different than Camden Yards.
